I sent a letter to support telling them of your concerns. I would suggest you do the same. Support has located all his Accounts and they are now banned. thnaks for helping me keep an eye on this stuff ;)

so all this time, IndieGala hasn't had or enforced a strict 1-to-1 IG account to Steam account link?? WTF? between that and not requiring a minimum steam account level, that's basically an invitation for bots to come in and overrun the system!

here's the base account for the offender:

since profile links don't get applied for giveaway or auction WINNERS, the only people who can verify they're tied to the same account are the people who created giveaways that were won by one of the "miklenov" variants.

because it was a mistake, this should only be a cautionary note to people who take part in the giveaway. it was originally a giveaway on another site, though, so that would potentially disqualify it, but then again, it was mistakenly given away, so maybe it should still be a valid GA item

The problem with DLC is that you need to own the base game to redeem (still true?). DLC for free to play games are fine. Anyone who wins can confirm if they're valid.

But this DLC doesn't match the description. In the description there is silver pack, which could be bought for 0,99$ here

I really wish i could send a message to all these people who's games I am shutting down so they would know why .. I hate having to bad a game that shouldn't be simply because morons keep restarting them after I shut them off

I wasn't meaning to comment about the cheating (conflicting description). I was pointing out that anyone could try the giveaway and confirm the degree of cheating. I highly doubt it but it's possible at least one of them could have been better than the master booster pack due to it offering 1,000,000 credits and the master offering 500,000. Description space is limited and the giver could have been cut off.

I prevously asked if a giveaway contained a better key than what was linked to, is that a bad giveaway. No one cared. Again, I doubt these giveaways fall under that.

When i close a giveaway they don't disappear. they just "end early" without a winner being annonced .. so if it says " Expired" and doesn't have a winner .. odds are I closed it ;) as far as banning the person Usually depends on how often / times it is tried. Some people are not meaning to "cheat" they just couldn't find the link for their stuff (usually because it is banned) and so they use a dif link and change the descript. Thus why i wish It would auto message them.

A word - believe me or not, I'm usually still giving such cases benefit of the doubt
But then I usually notice that user could choose many other substitutes and SOMEHOW he chooses the highest, (absurdely) well-paid IC one... yeaah
