Yes it is always appreciated when you post links .. Don't have to post them all that is up to you.. Even if we don't get to it in time we can block others from posting them .. now on a seperate note. there is a glitch that some people use that lets them post blocked content. So if there is only like say 4 or 5 giveaways for something free or say a bunch by same person. that is people glitching. those get reported straight to support. . I do try to check this several times a day (i do miss some days) So Keep posting. youare helping make the giveaways actually things worth getting ;)

mseals, I know it's not up to you but how about finally hiring extra mod(s) or janitor(s)? I'm pretty sure you could find someone reliable even, for example, from users highly involved in this thread

we have 3 mods currently. but yea it isn't my choice who to really allow access . and we do it basically to help out the site. And i#I have been doing it a little over 5 years now.

The majority of those giveaways are won by users who have not logged in for months. What is the deal there?

In that case sorry, but they are not doing a good job and are probably inactive. Every giveaway is hanging here for at least 24 hours, it's enough of time to remove them.
Not to mention such cases as
(given away for free)
where you have only 2 hours to react, and still this should be removed

I try to check twice a day .. And once liek that one are banned but there is a glitch that lets certain people post anyway. indiegala has been informed but it hasn't been fixed yet. And When i run through it I look for the new ones and the posts here. i don't go through every giveaway every day. Would take a long time and I have other things I do as well.

My top concern are the giveaways with the highest reward. Sorting by price makes finding the most damaging bad giveaways easier.

Another time saving tip would be to bookmark the first few pages of giveaways sorted by price and load them all at once. For those times when page loads are slow.

I always do a sort by price and then go till it is 10 IC But there are tons of banned freebies and I don't awalys catch them all

Most likely those accounts were made to be fake (or compromised) and are now run by a bot program to "participate" in the giveaway. These accounts never log in to provide feedback and after a week the user gets a free positive feedback. This way the user providing the feedback has a very low chance of getting someone like us who would give negative feedback for the free/fake/whatever giveaway and they can continue to gain levels. Even if they do somehow get a real person to give negative feedback all they have to do is complain to support that there was a mistake or something being unfair and they get another chance to continue to do the same thing again. That's why there are so many users with -10 or more feedback still able to make these giveaways.

It's not just the giveaways with high IC that they push through. Many of these users make piles of 1 IC giveaways of games that they got for free and fly under the radar continuing to amass more points to get higher levels while also artificially inflating their "positive" scores. This make it easier for them to cry about getting banned when/if that occurs.

I have reported him for glitching the system tons of time .. because he has over 800 positives it gets overlooked. The game is banned ,, he is just one of the glitchers

To be honest, I have a mixed feelings about all these "free" keys re-giveaways. While it's true, the are free NOW, but sooner or later the original giveaway ends, and such re-giveways like here might a good way and source to get something you've missed. Also, while such keys are being given free of money payment, it's true that sometimes they require from you to do some mundane if not tiresome tasks, not to mention of the requirement of being in right time and in the right place to get them.

So, in my opinion, it wouldn't be bad if we allow to do such re-giveaways - under one condition though: by making such always worth the lowest possible IC worth (and XP points) - I think it's 1 IC and 50 XP respectively.
But yeah, why am I wasting my time writing all this here, it's not like IG cares about their giveaways section anyway.

1 IC and no gain for lvl up. I am active on another site which do GA (and is really applies rules) and they decided to stop blocking GA for free games but instead those games have no value anymore. The aim is to stop people using dozen alt account to farm free keys and do GA while people who whant to play those games can't even have a key.
