Basically, he preys on new users all day long (Check the reps he got , plenty are from new/unexperienced traders) so he can take advantage of 'em and get their bundled games in order to resell on grey market and that's one of the reasons why you see him leaving comments asking other traders on IG if their game is "gift link" or a key or if its region locked ...
I know this person from barter, where they have this in their profile "I will give priority to gift links (...) because they are more secure"
As soon as I see something like this, I know to stay away. If somebody is willing to let me risk getting banned on Humble just so they can make 2 extra bucks on the grey market, that's not an honest trader. I advise everybody to NEVER use gift links for trading, ever and if somebody asks for it, they are 99% a reseller who does not care about what will happen to your account only their own profit

Check this out : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/235577. Literally chuckled when i saw that.

"The deal will be accepted only through discussion in Steam and only for 2-3 AAA games."

Would you like 3 50$ gift cards as well? 2 or 3 AAA games for this : Steam Community :: The Last Bug , https://steamdb.info/app/1343130/? Didn't know that this unknown junk has the same value of AAA games though, man thinking that he got Blur or some valuable removed games :ROFLMAO:

Looks like el famoso found a new way to scam. Do not fall for this sad & laughable attempt though.

Ciao.

Just to make things clear! Pricing in general is subjective , as we all know many traders especially unexperienced ones can sometimes price their games" the way they want" (Which we think it's not fair) and that's kinda understandable (to some extent) ... BUT! When it comes to someone that we all know that he knows what he's doing & most importantly well known for scamming and preying on unexperienced traders by offering them freebies , giveaway junk ,cheap trash & ofc highballing, then that's when there's a big difference. Unlike some unexperienced users here, he's trading on Barter, Steamtrades (Decent traders should avoid trading there btw) and as we all know he knows every single giveaway site on the internet though so he's pretty knowledgeable about every easy scamming and lowballing/highballing methods available.

You know why this laughable "deal" exists? Well, if you try to offer him something that he doesn't see as profitable he'll prolly get pissed and instantly reject it, why? Cause most of the times if he's not highballing or lowballing you it's not that great deal for him unless he really wants the game you have so bad. It is just like that! He got used to this. Basically he's the only one allowed to fool you. Proof? Let's take a quick look at some of his "fair" offers on Barter :

Solomon : Offers : #3709476 to dbernsons (This is the best one : Offering a Trash dlc won in a giveaway for games like COD : WWII or Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy to a new user)

Take a look at what he wrote while leaving offers! Aren't those offers contradicting his own statement there? Well he wants you to think it's not!

"When I compare trades, I look at prices at Allkeyshop" : That's only applicable if he has a non bundled game or a valuable game so he can highball you and acquire as much games from you as he can and this is the case with his recent attempt (Except that what he's listing is not valuable at all).
"Or maybe not" : This is the cheeky part! An excuse to lowball/scam you by offering you any of that trash he got for your valuable games.

Finally, I'm not trying to come up as hubris or something but i have some experience in trading so i can safely say that i know exactly how traders like him operate and act most of the times and hence i wanted to warn others about that laughable attempt he made. I've used ST for quite some time so i know all the rules and how things go there ... He's basically the scrub version of ST resellers ... Same mentality and vile actions but el famoso is broke (Luckily he is though, otherwise he'd scam us all tbh).

Offered "Zeno Clash 2" for "Everything" and got an already used key. Then noticed 2 others giving him negative feedback also saying he gave them an already used key, he then created a new account to get his feedback back into the green:

I left him a PM on the forums Yesterday at 7:34 PM and on his profile, a the time of writing this, you can see "Last seen Today at 9:37 AM" on his profile, so he saw the message;

Created this account just to give himself positive feedbacks (you can see its been created on the 29th):

Still has some trades open:

Sup folks, time for a new report about another degenerate who enjoyed his stay here scamming thinking that he's so smart and no one would notice.

We gonna talk about this user. He's a well known lowballer on Steamtrades, I've used ST for quite some time so i know him since +2 years now. Now let's talk about his scams : as you can see here , he gives dupes or invalid keys intentionally and obviously he won't offer a working key as a replacement even though as a reseller he's surely capable of doing so. Unfortunately, He didn't scam with this account only though! He has alt accounts that he performed multiple scams with & ofc used 'em to gain fake +reps.

His alt accounts :

https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/5bbc913aef3c11e78200195b84a6a6d7 : as you can see here he did the same thing that he does with his "main account", he gives random, duplicate or invalid keys.

^ Check the +reps between these accounts.

Here's his recent comment asking a new user (prolly a scammer stay away) if his game is gift link or key : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/235406

Finally i didn't dig that deep at all tbh as i just noticed this after like few minutes but i can assure you that he has tons of other alt accounts which he performed many scams with 'em a lot of times.

Well, here's one more alt account he's using :

Steam Community :: MEGApow : 99% chance it is the same person. All "owned" games are freebies & the ones shown as recent activity (Half life ones) are there because of family sharing, prolly via his main account just to make you think that he owns paid games (This is something that many sellers do with their alt accounts). Same date of recent activity as his other already reported account : Steam Community :: rockmanverde. What a coincidence.

You can see his comment asking the scammer that Tugamix just reported about his game if it is a key or a gift link (As he usually does in order to sell it on Grey market) here : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/235432

Another smart kid trying his luck : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/8d907d8ac6c111eb9af47726ab8d4de8

https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/236379 : There's no Steam CD Key for The Witcher 3! CD Projekt only distributed GOG cd keys and that's it.
https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/236378 : He can afford a recently released unbundled game that's worth +30 euros on grey market but can't afford Baba is you or Ultimate chicken horse that's bundled & worth way too less. What a very generous person.
https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/236382 : ^ Same case as the one above regarding the price + There are NO RDR2 Steam CD Keys! Only Rockstar Launcher keys are available.

Tbh this site attracts the most retarted scammers that you could ever find ... If i'm not mistaken, i remember seeing these suggested games before though so if that's the case then looks like there's one kid who's enjoying his time here since some time ago making multiple accounts to scam. I mean as long as fake level 0 accounts are welcome here we'll keep seeing funny attempts like these pop up on the trading section every now and then and unfortunately few reliable traders would fall for them as we already seen before. Thanks IndieGala ...

Scammer : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/236734, there's no Steam cd Keys for Need For Speed Heat
Level 0 throwaway Steam account (ofc) : Steam Community :: gtaplayer70

Another one : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/2f85bfe36bdc11ebac75b30358e21091
Level? You guessed it right 0 : Steam Community :: DANF1
Alt accs used to acquire fake +rep with : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/41b3bc978fd411eb816da9b3d3af4577 & https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/1e1495028fd511eb91af55ac35101251

More clowns are joining to scam almost daily at this point and again all this happening thanks to IG's very strict rules to prevent scammers from joining.

Edit :

More alts to gain more fake +reps :

He's certainly enjoying his time.

Sup folks, got some interesting stuff to share with you and no it's not about @solomon unfortunately

Another one of them typical alt accounts appeared on the trading section recently : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/38121957ad3811ebbb59090001082a71

Gamehag in their names or its logo as their profile pics, same badge from summer sale 2018, level 0, already done some giveaways to appear legit, posting cheap/trash games ... Hmmm wonder where i saw that before! Hmm maybe here? :

See these 4 accounts? These are owned by that one trader who never stops spamming on trading section "KimetSimet" which most of reliable traders here think he's legit since he lists some valuable games. Last year i reported these 4 alts and got them banned as confirmed by Paula they were using the same IP and ofc they share a lot of similarities as anyone can notice but for some reason IG folks didn't ban the other one he's currently using (KimetSimet) even though back at that time he was using the same profile background as one of his alts , profile pic, same games farmed as on the other accs and i noticed his replies on Steamtrades were the same (Using the same words, making the same mistakes etc) , giving fake reps to his other accs + i even did bring up evidence from his twitter acc though! yet all that in vain ... After his 4 alt accs got banned he started to kinda make the one profile that he's currently using appear different and legit hence keeping no interaction between KimetSimet and the ones banned except that one time he got fake review from 7lvis. KimetSimet isn't even the main account btw! It's full of freebies so it's just another alt.

Now the crazy part, guess who he could be too? Well it's the same famous reseller that we already reported couple of days ago! The one who's always asking for gift links using multiple accs and have done many scams HERE (Check this to understand the full context) You might think i'm tweaking but take a look here who gave him some +reps on ST :

Reputation for 76561198360409469 - Page 10 (Got screenshots in case he deletes those reps)

Salobus : Reputation for 76561198360409469 - Page 10
7lvis : Reputation for 76561198360409469 - Page 10
Gamehag.com : Reputation for 76561198360409469 - Page 10

And ofc the one i did report few days ago : Reputation for 76561198360409469 - Page 10
Steam Community :: op7goldfish Gamehag.com

A this point, i'm pretty sure (100%) that he got more accounts than the ones we already reported though. Just when you think that el famoso is the worst trader here now i stumble upon the biggest lowlife trader that i've ever seen tbh. This makes you wonder how many times he joined with fake accs and how many scams he did here ... This post could be a waste of time since he will surely show up with more alts after he sees it but the focal point is to warn reliable traders about trading with sketchy level 0 accounts! 99% of the time a reliable trader doesn't need to hide behind an alt to trade, always keep this in mind. Finally, as usual we always thank IG for their perfect rules that protect its traders/users from getting scammed. Allowing level 0 accounts , or accounts that are all full of freebies to join anytime is such a very smart idea.

but then I saw that they all have the exact same recently played games with almost the exact same game time. How do you even do this, play a game through several accounts?
There are programs for card farming, that allow you to idle a game without even installing it. The program just tells Steam that a certain game is running and after an appropriate time you get your card drops, that's why such accounts have identical play time on the same games.
Another telltale sign of a card farmer are achievements - if a "person" has hours of play in a game without even getting a "launched the game" achievement, that surely means something. Some people also use programs to unlock achievements without playing, but they don't always work perfectly - I've seen mentions of people having an achievement for finishing the game unlocked before an achievement for finishing the first chapter.

I was like, these all look like legit Steam user profiles to me, but then I saw that they all have the exact same recently played games with almost the exact same game time. How do you even do this, play a game through several accounts?

As Freakill mentioned, he uses a software to farm trading cards (He's using Archi to farm cards from multiple accs at the same time)

^ Do not offer anything to these scammers.

Edit : This user : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/7f3cb7dce29e11eb806ebfd6a54537fe 100% got something to do with those 2 accounts! Although it may looks safe to trade with when you check the recent reps but it is not! Fake reps shared between those accounts on the same day + he got a legit -rep (Doubt that it will be the only one), so be careful.

My policy is (now that I have a better understanding of how the trade and grey markets work) never to make an offer that I know to be ridiculously unfair on the market, and if someone makes an offer to me that I know to be overly generous, I make sure they're aware of and understand the market values for what's being traded and give them a fair chance without pressure to reconsider or revise their trade offer accordingly if they wish. Let's all focus on educating each other about how to find the best deals and trades for our excess stock and leave the scammers with no one but each other to lowball all day.
