Well also got scammed. Yooka-Laylee for My time at Portia, not too much of a loss for me seeing as i wasnt interested in Yooka in the first place at least. Should have known better than to believe that. Well at least i know for next time around. Here is that persons profile:
All other people leaving positive feedback are also fake and probably the same guy(notice the guy that just joined today giving a positive review).
Aaand the others:

Aaaaand i got a negative review from that person... classy gent indeed.

On 27/02 I sent an email to Indiegala support, but the scammer has not yet been banned.

Yeeep sent them an email too on that day, but still no reaction from support here either. Kind of unsure if we will ever see that dude getting banned, so for now all we can do is just warn people.

Just recieved an email from indiegala saying they banned the account i traded with, that being KellySmith. Although i think the other accounts are still active, it is still a nice start at least.

This topic is already two years old and has some interesting ideas, but Indiegala did not use any ... and worse, it does nothing to inhibit the scammers. Today the topic only serves to warn you that you have a scammer in the trade sector.

The trade sector has been around for 3 ½ years, and has had many active users in its first 2 years, having more than 100 pages of trade announcements every month. Then the scammers started to appear, Indiegala did nothing and consequently many old users, in good faith, stopped using the trade sector.

And you being a new user, you were lucky to make your first exchanges with trusted users. The biggest losers are the new users, who are the biggest victims of the scammers. That after the frustration of having been stolen, they give up using the trade sector. And with that, the active users does not increase.

Like I said, haven't been into the forum for ages...
I was trying to be a bit positive, but I can't say that I'm surprised that Indiegala hasn't put in place a new system to catch scammers.
Then again, is it really that easy? I would think that each case warrants some investigation, and while some scammers are laughable easy to spot, others might require more scrutiny. An automated system is not a good idea IMHO.

But I agree with you oliveiracardoso, its a pity that new users gets duped by filthy scammers.
I do remember the old days, with triple the amount of trades being available, but the only way to make the page more active is to...well be more active :p

As for me, I kind of tired of the whole thing, making trades (which takes a while), sifting through wishlists/games owned, encountering people who demand too much while at the same time expecting you to be overally generous, and the scammers...first they were provoking and then they became sort of commonplace...That and the sneaking feeling; do I really need more games? At times I traded for the fun of it, but when its more of a chore than fun, you quit.
At the same time there are less good bundles around, for example Humble after the IGN takeover is all about the Monthly, which a whole lot of people subscribe to. In terms of bundles, we were kinda spoiled (or robbed by IGN :p ), good times don't last forever.

Fact, he has deleted his topic of exchanges in the forum and his profile Indiegala, is not connected with the profile steam. Did you try to talk to him on steam? To solve the problem. If he became a scammer ... this is very sad.

Yeah tried adding him on Steam he even dismissed my Friend invitation on Steam what means to me he don´t want to talk. it´s sad that he did such thing since he was active enough. I Wrote in every Trade he still has going that this is a scam so no one will get the same expierience ; )

Probably, he/she will come back under a new nickname and with a new account after all I AM PANKOFANTO's trades get expired, if has not done it already.
