Some guaranteed keys don't work

Well, this one might open a can of worms, but..

Twice now I've gotten keys that were supposedly guaranteed by IndieGala, yet when I went to redeem them on Steam I was told they were already used.

When it happened the first time my theory was basically this... we know when trades for guaranteed games fail without a trade, the IG indication saying they are available to trade or giveaway disappears too. It says they can't be redeemed because they're still being used for a trade or giveaway, even when they aren't. So we make support tickets. They go and find them and mark them as unused so the owner can use them again. Fine, right? Except I swear sometimes when I've done this I've discovered they marked some of my games as available again now *even though I traded them already*. Thing is I'm not sure. But if they are traded a second time of course they will say they're already used.

But... interesting thing is both times this happened to me the game I tried to trade for was the *exact same game*. It makes me wonder if the sellers of the game keys repeated some or had a dealer screw something up or what. I've been saying that could happen, because I've seen it on Humble store once myself and hear rumors of specific other games this has happened to.

In either scenario I doubt the person who traded the key to me is at all to blame, because how would they know? So I'm not downvoting them. But, clearly, there's a problem here. Guaranteed keys by their very nature are supposed to be guaranteed.

And... it just occurs to me that there's another great reason I wouldn't leave negative feedback: I can't. Guaranteed games automatically get a checkmark.

Support doesn't seem to be around on the weekend. Or at least they've never replied over a weekend the times I've written to them.

Really not thrilled with support these days. They said " Please let us know which are the trades in question and we will send you new keys. " except my initial complaint already included exact details of which ones:

"The games were:

I got: Escape From Nazi Labs
Key: [gave]
Date: Jun 03 2017 00:51:54
Game I traded: Dorke and Ymp

I got: Escape From Nazi Labs
Key: [gave]
Date: Apr 08 2017 16:03:00
Game I traded: GRAV"

This is not the first (or second, even) time they said they would be happy to do something once I explained it to them -- after I already had. One time I had to give up on a concern after going back and forth with them, as they said they did something and I showed over and over that they hadn't.

Unrelated, but yesterday they also said my email address, which I have used for ten months here (which they can see) with a sterling reputation, was at risk of being kicked off this site as a "throwaway account" and all my unusued games would be taken away from me unless I provided a different address. Are they kidding me? So I actually spend real money here on bundles and sometimes the store and have tons of keys I haven't redeemed yet, and they wanted to take away their product and still keep my money? For something they can see if ridiculous just by looking at it? They backed off of it after I complained, but what the hell IndieGala, are you trying to make yourself look foolish here?
