Me and ivo been working on a visual novel called 'The Shadows Over Willowtown', bout two weeks give or take from our first demo release, which we'll be sharing here...possibly with the ability to claim the game on itch.io forever for the first people to grab it--if I can figure out how to do a promo and they allow it before any sales are made (obviously new territory for me)

Its has some lewd content, but its more of a horror story (this parts mostly all ivo)--i'm just the programmer adding some ideas here and there...and american english heh

Sorry, I was just speaking from my point of view. Most likely that the photos are from 1994-1995 and that's like 15 years before I was born.

Age is just a number anyway. It's cool to see that many of you still play games well into your 20s or 30s.

Are you saying that I'm not missing much in visual quality when gaming from 70-80cm away (2.5 feet) on my 1080p monitor? I know that games are much harder to run in 4K but maybe it's worth it if picture is amazing. Or would a nice 1440p LCD be a good compromise?

From my computer chair to mid desk at 4K makes a difference...what DOESNT help is being close up for LARGE screens...I find my 27" 4k 144hz monitor perfect...maybe i'd go 32" if they even had one with all these features that wasn't Ultrawide from a brand I liked. The 4k is like night and day, much more than you really realize the refresh rate IMO, colors become extra crisp which makes all the details stand out from shadows and distance like you wouldnt believe. You don't want a hige monitor right in your face or you'll seebthe squares of each section...thats much worse. You need a 55"-65" or so when your sitting 8 feet away on a couch...and bigger belong in theaters or mansions.
