Yes, fully. The interrupts don't work on things like DOSBOX (it crashes usually), where that doesn't...must be nice to emu your own OS that you simply hide under the hood 🤣

Its the only way I was ever able to really code in Turbo C++ 3.0.

I actually had a shell of a DOS 16 bit Windows styled OS I made in it with custom mouse cursors and stuff...nothing could run it except that.

For the record, I still have an XP machine, it wasn't my code (although the code is SUPER sensitive) and crashed TC++ utterly if you screwed up lol.

Edit:

Sorry too much technical garbage lol...I forget sometimes where I'm talking

Short answer yes.

If you have Windows 7 Pro or better (maybe even vista pro or better), it'll run anything XP would.

Fair warning though...if I remember right, its much more resource intensive than something like DOSBOX...I don't remember everyones computers but I know laptops were mentioned, I'm honestly not sure how good that would run.

Its bee awhile since I used it...I did for coding ad now you can't run it either without something like that--defeats the purpose.
thank you!! ❤️
recently i have installed a VM with XP on my (82 yr old) mother's computer because she prefers to use old versions of some softwares :)
and for myself just want to run some old MIDI software from the 90's like this one :
(imagine that it can process as template yamaha music style files, and i have at lest 20 000 of them)

you talking the old beep beep beep style that Windows no longer does? The TRUE 8-Bit?

I had a friend whos more musical than me make me the mission impossible theme like that (in code) for a DOS game hahaha.

Edit:
Doesn't seem it, why can't you play midi files?

Heck, I could whip something up to do that in like 3 minutes...gotta be a program for it on any OS

Edit my Edit

Sorry, you want the SOFTWARE to make it. I see.

Cool. Have fun.

Got a blank page in reddit and found this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/vobmqc
I think the whole inter-world is collapsing from overload, I'm having major lag here, FB, google search, etc.

Got AV/AM software on my phone (for the lot of good it does lol) and its random as hell across multiple sites even searches freezing.

Maybe I just have waaay too may tabs open from all my code/game guides lmao.

But thats never been an issue before.

IC 👍

This might seem rude, but is the card craze to sell them?
In this case I don't even see it as a dik move, you buy a card then you wanted the card...but the value must drop with so many being put up if its steam cards.
help get free games, help even more depending on regional price as cards don't have ''regional pricing''. most of my games i got from it

I have over 250 free games on Epic and only played 4 of them : what remains of Edith Finch , Subnautica , In Sound mind and Amnesia Rebirth :ROFLMAO:
So here's another 3 games I will never touch but take anyways .
i'd never say never, but saying that maybe only your grandgrandsons/daughters will play them is more accurate XD

there are some really good games that i didn't knew, i ll start playing one by one , bit by bit, and i don't know if i ll be an elder when i finish them and have more 1123912381 games to play

I was actually excited when I saw latest bundle https://www.indiegala.com/bundle/evil-village-bundle but then I watched the Steam reviews (n)
All below 100 user reviews , mixed or mostly positive at best .
And these title names : Ebola , Ebola 2 ...... the sequel will probably named Tuberculosis

I don't expect Fanatical level of bundle quality , but some effort would be nice .

indiegala does have good bundles.....sometimes every few months.....typically they usually have one or two good games in a bundle...not sure about this bundle though

I really don't think this one is worth it , for just 2 $ more you can get Resident evil 4 or 5 rn on Indiegala . This bundle is quantity over quality .

But I do wish Indiegala starts putting out bundles like this one again .
