I got one issue with VR, the two big PC headsets are made by Microsoft and FB

I dont have a problem with FB buying out Oculus. FB made VR affordable for the commoner. Works for me. I dont post to FB so that wasnt an issue either. BTW FB accounts are no longer required, you need a Meta account. Not quite same-o but sorta ... lol. Again, not bothered. I can still slash bloqs till my feet ache (I played 9hrs straight not long after I got my Quest ..more than once... gotta get gud lol.)

You & I now have vintage models with the Oculus logo on the headset

Sorry that information may be inaccurate as I was thinking the Meta-Verse, not Meta itself as a company.

If the fact that when you typed the word "pot" 8 yrs ago on FB made stories of Bill Clinton pop up due to type-tracking doesn't bother you with a VR headset I guess your all good though

Second, usually people use a website with a spinning wheel (i actually made a program myself for this), or something similar, I wouldn't rely on Excel.

Story time:
Unfortunately no. My country has almost nothing to buy games easily.
The reason I am able to buy games on steam easily is because of buying steam wallet codes from other trustable shop in facebook.
I use a local mobile money system to pay & get wallet codes in return. This is also not cheap, they also want to have a small profit.
Now it is still possible to buy games directly from stores using dual currency card except they are extremely tedious to get & I think only few parents in my country are going to let their kids have money on a card to simply buy games.
So steam is the only way for me to legally buy games.
It's the same reason that consoles are not popular in my country.
You may think that consoles are more affordable than a decent pc. And you are right. My potato pc with intel uhd 630 almost costs more than a ps4.
Except again most parents won't let their child have a console to simply play games. The fact that I can use my pc in other ways besides gaming is why I was able to make my parents agree to it & again the original issue of not being able to buy console games easily.
I can honestly go on.
