be...jesus 🤦‍♂️
If we listened to the idiots of the universe, all your retro classic games would have been wiped off the map for god sake, your 32-bit Windows wouldn't get a single game supported anymore because it could have been 'improved' by using a 64-bit OS...even if it was something as simple as a sound API (and I've seen it happen to games SOLD with the requirements as Win 7 mid development believe it or not causing it to require Windows 10), different situation slightly since its another OS not the architecture, but there are obviously reasons programs REQUIRE a 64-bit OS, its certainly not to look pretty on the list of requirements.
Go do your research on that context and see what the 'majority' of rich pampered troll-souls who have nothing better to do with their lives than bitch and moan to each other have to say about outdated specs and operating systems being removed to enhance the quality of all games in general...because they have nice PCs mommy and daddy bought them to get them to go the fuck away since they never leave the house.
You know, the majority also had no love for Windows 7 online, but every single person I speak with IRL says they loved it an never would have switched, and last time I checked there were more programmers using Windows 7 (maybe as a dual OS like me, but regardless) for programming than any other OS in the WORLD.
The majority would prefer it gone publicly, but when you actually ask someone one on one that you know, they generally had a different opinion, and no offense to the general user base--but i'm going to think the majority of programmers had better reasons for staying on that OS than the people who needed help to find the login button :ROFLMAO:
I'm not even considering my own opinion, those were facts, not linux, not W8, not W10, Win 7. Of course its probably shifted now since Mic-Foolisoft practically killed it utterly by bullshitting that the SHA-1 algorithm was no longer secure and removing all the files needed to install most software, games included from the website. Like DirectX for example.
Ahem, anyways...
The majority are trolls, most of them peer pressured into what they troll about due to 'popular opinion', don't join them lol.
They are newer, the majority wasting their time bitching online are younger. That and what I said above are the end of the discussion for me
Like I said, I lived it...idfc what some children of the inter-korn who emulated it on a shitty emulator that didn't get the speed right say about it, ken did as well...and agrees. Like I said, one on one without pressure its a different story, reddit is the land of the troll 🤦‍♂️
Then it should never have been able to shut off, sorry...I pirated my copy to multiple other users (thanks Dell lmao) for repairs using a single licence code to the point they refused to activate them without me calling an 'automated' license line
They killed Windows 7, they certainly didn't care enough to chase down pirated copies for sure...sort of like chasing down NES emulators instead of PS4 ones.
Not gonna happen.
I've siad "mostly", not "only", so that text sheet is so wrong.
I'm seriously starting to think you've hit your head lately or something, everything coming out of your mouth is unreal :ROFLMAO:
Legit dude, i'm not even being an asshole intentionally, but you have gone completely insane...read how many people disagree with you about all these points.
I can't even, I just can't.
You: talking about the majority is doesn't means anything
Also You: Dude, read how many ppl disagree with you

How does it works in the same universe?
Well credit for breaking the law like a bazillion times at any rate...really, i'm serious, nice (y)
XDDDD THUG LIFE XDDDD
The fact is (especially if thats the case), shes more animation than real, and likely it was done in a legit studio to add the chickens and everything to that extreme...neither are the eyes, ot multiple other parts. (no, I'm not hitting suzy's instagram to argue lmao)
Dude, she exists. What are we arguing about?
She's not looking IRL like she's in picture? Or that that picture is not real and just a montage of CGI/art?
I'm completely lost! XDD

I think it is still worth starting from old school, considering their community is very alive and if you want to renew the graphic there are tons of mods, the fun is infinite with mods created in 30 years. The example you have given is not completely accurate: they are different genre one is called text adventure (example Zork) and another is called point click adventure (example: Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion etc), while all those games we mentioned before are Fps games.
Yup, text adventures were one of my favourite genres on old 8-bit computers. Zak McCracken was the transition from text adventures to point-and-click, I think.

Easily, idc...and I don't post other peoples internet garbage, I say what i believe...right or wrong--its a truth I've come to through actual conclusive research (as in reading code first hand, experiencing it, or seeing it first hand), not something simply written on a page or put up on a video.

I may use those as reference points, but I will never argue something that didn't come directly from a source I am sure is as valid as you can get these days or my own life and things I've learned or come to understand myself.

I will toss conspiracies around all day long with the best of the thinkers, but I will never put my foot down and say something is a pure fact unless I fully believe it to be so...either by intuition or actually trying it or doing the equation for it like a mathematician proves an impossible theory, I've run it through every possible scenario I can imagine for it to be WRONG before I'll say its not--an that'll need to be enough because I can't rip the universe open to test it... and although I may still be wrong, I believe it to be fact and I won't change my mind for anyone or anything...that would be peer pressure.
Also You: Dude, read how many ppl disagree with you
You wouldn't believe...I'm probably one of the most doubted minds on the planet, by friends, strangers, family, you name it....and sadly i usually end up proven to be right in the end. My best friend has doubted me until a roof fell that could have crashed down and killed him--even after this, he doubts my instincts...and its not the first time he has seen the end results.
I laugh at the irony of this every single god damn day...as I watch it happen over and over and over again.

i don't know why my mind works how it works, I just know it does and I've come to trust it.

But the real bottom line is...i never trust an internet source as fact, maybe 20 of them from different areas, and then trying, but I never take any load of BS said online to be true.

Generally, the difference between us is I don't even listen, all my conclusions are my own, start to finish...I catch what little info I catch in passing and the rest is something I came to a conclusion about MYSELF. Wiki this, reddit that, youtube showed me how to light a fire under my ass with canned peas and a lightbulb...hooray for youtube

This is a war against stupidity I've been fighting since the dawn of social media, so don't get me wrong...my venom is not pointed at you, but unfortunately we stand on opposing sides of the agreement entirely in this case. I FUCKING HATE when people who take everything online as a fact, because its usually fudged, bot enabled, AI made, or pure BS--half the time by our own government.
XDDDD THUG LIFE XDDDD

The picture is more animated than real life, I don't doubt she exists...but that isn't make-up and clothing.

Like i said, my younger siblings cosplay all the time, i've been to conventions. Its absolutely impossible to be just a photo or even close...background chickens aside

Computer gamers had a chance to learn English. Console gamers on the other hand...

Even that final Cadash scene with "Thank you for the important thing" sounds like a Shakespearean classic compared to "console English".

AWA Daily Quest for today (10 ARP): Rent a flick
Just click on the quest itself in the Daily Quest section
Visit the Videos section: https://na.alienwarearena.com/ucf/Video

I'm not totally sure about this:unsure: but as per my understanding, tomorrow's Daily Quest will also be a 10 ARP one, Courtesy of April Fools Artifact Fixed.(y)

Also not totally sure, but when you do the Steam Quests this week, you can do it without equipping the H`erkow Warrior Script Artifact (adds an additional 1 ARP to Steam Quest) when the 2x ARP Boosters are gonna be activated later this week. We already know that the Boosters don't work with the Twitch Quests anymore because of the Twitch Artifact, and basically I wouldn't wanna take a chance (Technically it should work and shouldn't be an issue as this is not the main Steam Artifact and non upgradable also, but this is AWA🤷‍♂️).

Basically the reason I'm being very cautious is cuz the payout is big if everything works as it's supposed to. Steam Quests 3X , 25 ARP each with Booster = 75+75 = 150 ARP

Yes, I know it's relatively new, only from 2009.
But let's not forget that there is a large "layer" of genres where the plot is given enough attention (RPG, JRPG, Tactics, Visual Noves), and these genres felt very good on consoles, so whether you want to or not, you just had to learn the language :) And God forbid you become a fan of some Nihon Falcom games, where graphomania sometimes breaks all logical and illogical boundaries, so you had to study very hard.

I'll never forget making a text-only clone based on x-men in my first and only year in computers...all my classmates were standing around me as we went through all the options, my teacher walked up and in all seriousness asked me

How did you do that?

Few months later (probably not thinking), he asked me if I'd like to teach the class, as teachers are known to do...I'll leave the asshole answer to your imaginations
Yay, AWA Tier 2! And after just three months... It seems I'll be able to reach the final tier before my death... maybe.

I take offense to that, it was a Falcom game that used the word Phallic, most people probably have to look that up today

EDIT:

Sorry, that was Bandai...carry on lol.
I think Dante and Ken were talking about this
If thats the case theres been a serious fucking mix up here, but ken was saying she looked AI generated as well, and that doesn't make any sense in that pic, except the photoshop tits :ROFLMAO:

God, I hope so

Ahhh, much clearer now...like everything after some vodka. Pax

I thought you meant persons avatar, not 'peoples avatars' :ROFLMAO:
Hi WhatNitrous, it was indeed a massive CTPAX001RUS gift (and here is the evidence) but I have to keep working on my English and the hints 😅.

I know I'm coming into the conversation late but my recommendation for a friendly FPS for someone looking to get into the genre would be Quake II.

I love that game, it was the first FPS to which I dedicated countless hours, I think it's a friendly option on difficulty, gameplay and requirements (unless you want RTX ON 😉), the only thing I would criticize it's that it doesn't have differentiated hitbox for body parts which was not yet the norm at that time 🙁.

I think it hasn't aged too badly and it can still be fun to search for all the secrets and the (few) alternative paths in the levels (y).

Greetings.

No need for proof, I believe it, just wondering how it never hit my thank you list. I still can't confirm if thats how I got MY copy without way too much digging

I don't think one missing thank you between me and my russian friend will matter much, I'm sure I thanked him personally if thats the case.

Cheers, ;)

Nope, but will try. Have you played SWAT4, Brothers In Arms, Freedom Fighters? Sometimes your teammates are so dumb you'll need to order them to stay behind in order to achieve perfect score. 😂
i think i only played brother in arms, project snowblind is actually good, i remember it being the first shooter i got imersed and played for hours and hours till the end
