Trek To Yomi - 9.5GB

Lemme start off by saying you obviously want to fuck your sensei' daughters brains out with your other sword...but she's more of a princess than a submissive bondage type :ROFLMAO:

"To endure what is unendurable is true endurance" --Guy from a japanese yard sale blocking the road...with bad grammar haha.

I also need to apologize for a partial walkthrough during this, but I got caught up in it and it kind of made it worth reading...so I'm not going to spoiler block it.

You start with some basic attack and defense training with the few moves you have at the start, but it seems you can get
  • 19 Offensive Skills
  • 6 Defensive Skills
  • 8 Other Skills - Like combat rotation (turn)
Combat is done in side scrolling style, which is why you have Combat Rotation (that sounds nightmarish tbh, but we'll see) and your able to walk around in 3D outside of battle with your sword sheathed...I actually found an artifact in the prologue area which I assume you can't return too since your young--I'll never know if it can be found in the same area in the future now and I'm not chancing it heh.

The game is entirely black and white intentionally and full japanese with english subs, which is a nice touch and also made it so I could run it on absolute max with an unlimited frame rate without excessive heat, but it would probably still be overkill for a general use PC and need to be notched down at least a little or at 60fps. Not like its gonna kill you to turn down shadows when there isn't any color on the screen in the first place heh.

My G-Sync capped at 120hz for some reason (monitor is 144hz) so I tried to overclock my monitor to 165hz with a built in feature on it to get 144hz with G-Sync and the game crashed on me 😒

Back to after I found the mirror (artifact)...at least you can dash from the start lol.

I helped some old man with a tinfoil straw hat move his cart and my bondage slave stopped following me...I smells trouble
IMG_20230912_2119470~2.jpg
IMG_20230912_2119208~2.jpg
IMG_20230912_2124185~2.jpg

Make that 2 artifacts, one right after that screen as well. "This shows Izanagi, the creator, as he sealed the gateway to Yomi, land of the dead." (fucking lovely 🙄) and if that wasn't enough...some background chatter about how nothing happens here, 1000 years of peace, and then bandits in the forest...
A third artifact, what the fuck...is this game ten minutes long? Thats like half of them.

Wanna talk about building up to the first action scene...every door I enter I'm waiting for it at this point--and I hit a save point.

NOW?!?! No???

Okay, ADHD is officially kicking in, I'm getting bored and anxious at this point...give me the sword already!!!

"Victory comes to those who wait half an hour longer"...I shit you not that was the next text that crossed my screen 😂

They know their doing it...fuckers!!! I'm gonna Trek to wherever the devs are at and give them a swift kick in the balls.

Seriously, whoever did the dialogue script for this game was actually good at it...every word has a purpose and even though its transparent to me, I can see how well it was done. They are pulling the strings like a master of puppets.
If I'm right about the writing, I'm at the main gate which is where the old fart (I mean sensei) went so now shit is gonna hit the fan, my skank is gonna die...and I'm gonna go on a trail of bloody (black blood) vengeance in the land of the dead...which hopefully isn't like a level in persona repeating the same thing over and over again.

IMG_20230912_2157513~3.jpg

Then people scream as soon as I walk through the door :ROFLMAO: and another fucking collectable, getting a bad persona level vibe for real heh.

How many front gate looking areas can there be?

Okay, someone screamed bandits...bout time, but it sounds like an anvil banging...not swords clashing 🙉 seems they make up for the good writing with terrible sound effects lol.

IMG_20230912_2210360~2.jpg
Bout damn time...to battle!!!

Bitch left, she's dead...oh well, lets go kill people.

It was a bell, not swords clashing 🤷‍♂️😅

Enemy mocked me for being a child...he's now in Yomi and I got my first trophy lol. Few screens later and a bunch of dead bandits, all 7 Artifacts 😒

"And the bitch came back, I thought she was a goner but the bitch came back, the very same day"

From boy to man.
IMG_20230912_2248513~2.jpg
IMG_20230912_2251444~2.jpg
IMG_20230912_2256565~2.jpg
And this is where I end my Trek to Yomi review because I actually want to keep playing.

Nuff said (y)

Thanks for the game boss!!!

Legolas will make a better post than mine, but Alienware's next Community Event is available to join now. And back to a free game this time.

https://www.alienwarearena.com/steam/community-event/pubg-battlegrounds-community-event
I'm surprised to see this one. I didn't expect a krafton collab. How many of you still or have actually played PUBG in its heyday? Steam forums are full of a bizzare argument between players complaining of cheaters and so-called shills defending the publisher. Every single thread. I didn't think much of it until I encountered it. As an f2p it takes no effort to create a new account and churn. I wouldn't say most people are cheating but it's no stretch to say that in team games and ranked, there's at least one mixed in. The smart ones hide it with simple cheats like recoil off or macro + wallhacks to locate all enemies. Coupled with the bunny girl cosmetics the game is a pale imitation of what it once was. Fun can be had, but mostly only with friends or casuals.

Thanks! I will enter as many as I can too 🐸 I'm not interested in the game so if I'm lucky enough to win, I'll give it away here in a raffle. 🎁
I couldn't get it on AWA cus I'm only Tier 2 there :( Boooo stupid tier system.
Tier 2 here too! I'm interested in the game, I like vampire themed games. Though I don't think my current pc can run it, not smoothly at least

That game is graphic HEAVY, my 3090 24GB with the fans at 50% was cooking

That happened while I was just designing my vampire troop, forget playing online or something.

Idk how it runs on low settings myself, but I can tell you that your going to need some graphic power at least if you don't want it lagging like hell, especially if you play it online.

Since people are posting their reviews of their games, I'll post one of mine. I recently played what is basically a demo to Dynopunk called Dynopunk: Welcome to Synth-City. It's basically a visual novel but with dinosaurs in the future and I'm playing as a t-rex. A small t-rex for some reason. Other dinosaurs are either my size or bigger than me.

Anyway, I'm a mechanic who recently owns a repair shop, fixing gadgets here and there from other dinosaurs who brings in their broken stuff. I get to do more talking to them than fixing tbh, I guess that's where the visual novel genre comes in. I don't play the genre much but it seemed interesting to me enough, wanting to know more about my costumer dinosaurs.

Some of the interesting mechanics in the game is how calm or wary they are when they come in the store and you can influence the way they talk to you from how good or bad you repaired their stuff or if you gave them their preferred drinks (I had coffee or tea atm). You also have this sarcastic repair ai on your desk that belonged to the last mechanic in the shop. They like to "play pranks" on the other dinosaurs by asking you to do stuff on their gadgets, while also belittling you about your short t-rex arms lmao

My dino, named Chris I think, has a dream, building a time machine to save their girlfriend who died from a car crash. Is that really a spoiler? How did he find a blueprint for a time machine? It's in the same shop that the last owner was in who disappeared and your sarcastic ai keeps warning you to not build this contraption. You also have a childhood friend that comes by in the shop a lot who knows about the time machine blueprint and wants in on it. So he decides he wants to be a writer to make money so he can fund your time machine.

Honestly, I've had a good time, the characters was intriguing enough. Though the game feels a little slow and I imagine trying to replay parts to know how something would be different if you to go back to it would be cumbersome and I don't see an immediate save/load button like other visual novels 🤷‍♀️ that and the repairing isn't that complicated. But I've had instances where it feels like what I'm clicking at isn't grabbing the thing I need or was not clear enough that I needed to remove something first.

You can change the music from your busted phone and you can pull a t-rex middle finger to one of the bullies in the game though 🤣

Maybe I should stick to getting vampire the masquerade bloodlines instead 🤣

AWA Daily Quest for today (7 ARP): Day 3- Drag N' Drop
Just click on the quest itself in the Daily Quest section
https://na.alienwarearena.com/quests/4822

Finish the puzzle before the timer expires to get 7 ARP.🧩⏳

This should be relatively easy by now, but for any one having trouble with it, memorize or familiarize yourself with the puzzle pic and make sure you get at least 2 pieces ready to go the moment the puzzle starts. I complete it with 5 to 6 seconds to spare almost regularly now, as a result.(y)

Will be leaving Early Access and releasing on all platforms on 5th oct this year. The game's great fun so wishlist it and keep an eye on this game and get it when the price suits you. I paid full price for it. They update it often. Here's their tweet about it. Wait. Do we still call them "tweets"? hrm
