Epic Conquest 2 (F2P) - 850MB

I've had this game for awhile and never posted it here for some reason, maybe thinking it was a demo for some reason...it was one of few F2P games I found good enough to keep in my library.

I'm a little fuzzy on the story aspects, which is probably good for spoiler sake since its probably a pretty short game...I wouldn't know, I spent most of my time grinding and didn't even mind because the combat it fun (and frankly you'll get slaughtered exploring fully if you don't)...my best comparison to this game would be a more modern Zelda title or maybe Secret Of Mana, it fits into a few categories as the description says itself with a twist.

Your a female warrior trying to join the fighting ranks in your town (I believe your denied for some reason I can't remember) and asked to prove your worth...so you set out to help the locals with minor quests and such exploring the land outside of town, gathering resources, crafting...and if you go to far (like me), getting your ass handed to you if you didn't level up a good amount a few mere screens away.

Rather than it being a bad thing, if your one of those people (like me) who NEEDS to know if there is a chest you might be missing with some uber powered gear or something of the sort it kind of urges you to get stronger before carrying on...which is why I never actually finished this one, I'm still bent on getting everything

You have a nasty little sword combo and a few skills at the start of which you gain more as you level up and can assign to all four top buttons, while your dodge, attack, inspect, etc. are mapped to the normal buttons.

The game has all the qualities of a AAA title in it...damn grind I buried myself in aside I still enjoyed even that, which speaks volumes for the quality of this game even in the worst moments.

Enemies are on the map clear as day and you will want to figure out the patterns to avoid an arrow coming from off screen by the patterns etc early on...once you level up the first screens won't matter much, but a sub boss you run into might heh.

I just wanted to give a general idea of this games mechanics enough to say its worth checking out the store page and adding this into a category aside from the free game swamp we all likely have, its truly a gem in that sense.

My only question is what happened to first game? 🤷‍♂️

I mean, obviously, he'll ask for a world of neko-girls but he won't notice tiny letters "not available in Brazil" and, next thing he knows, some ripped man-bear named Chad will start hitting on him.
Then you need the Neko wormhole still being ripped open in the fabric of space so they get to watch (and cringe) as he's assaulted multiple times.

After admitting he was cute and they would have enjoyed his company.
I think we're way too late.
Hey, people are still trying to profit off Big Brother, I didn't say we'd be the first...it would just be fun, minimal, and profitable :ROFLMAO:

Mostly fun...or funny

And you need a Japanese title for the game - because nothing beats 20-words-titles. Something like "How I Found Myself in a Sandwich between My New Neko Girlfriend and Her Ex-Boyfriend Man-Bear".
As long as we don't add a ridiculous version on the end like...

How_I_Found_Myself_in_a_Sandwich_between_My_New_Neko_GF_and_Her_Ex_BF_Man-Bear-266b4_c.rar"

I can deal with that

Praey For The Gods - 4GB

Game seems good, just not my style. Forge, Craft, Stop at fires to warm up...meh 🖕

I got to the first battle with nothing of interest going on, a giant monster (who stepped on me to end my review lmao), you had to climb up it or use a grappling hook (only semblance of a weapon you find) on a certain spot which reminded me of another game (GOW maybe, minds not grasping it) that wasn't boring as fuck until your had to do this and consisted of snowy survival above all else.

Definitely NOT my cup of tea, but everything ran smoothly, it wasn't too heavy on my system and aside from the piss poor grappling hook which could latch into flat snow and drag you but not giant rocks or ice mounds, controls were tight and responsive.

Camera angle wasn't the best (hence my early demise by athletes foot or the ice pack you put on it) but good enough not to complain...much, considering a giant 16 times your size is hard to keep in view I suppose heh.

Think Tomb Raider when you had to make arrows  and you'll realize I wasn't a fan of that game either lol...but thats a personal thing, some people might really enjoy it (because their insane) so I figured I'd share my limited opinion before I uninstall the god forsaken thing lol.

You can dodge, punch 😲, jump, climb and dash...all which drain one of your three bars of things that can kill you...being fair though the easy story difficulty they default you too lets them regenerate and not totally kill you in most situations. I played on normal and story modes and made it to a giant version of the frost king taking out half its puck marks before it threw me to the ground and stuck its smelly foot on my skull in a final form of fatal foot odor as the lights went dark.

It seems interesting and this is one I won't judge without playing more (which won't be happening) so take this review with a grain of salt, I just don't like it myself.

Story goes something about humanity is freezing to death due to some who fucking cares reason as an excuse to dump you in an area with one more gauge to fuck you and minimal graphics, but I mean...it could get interesting if you ever see anything besides snow and get a few weapons 🤷‍♂️ thats for someone who intends to play to find out.

I had to climb the monsters fur and smack its body by pulling it out and ramming it in like I was humping it with its own rock hard pillar that was part of its arm and head while it tried to shake me off every now and then, usually when I'll was mid attack of course.

...and thats how my body crumbled, death by rocky callous. I won't be playing again so I figured I'd give my comical opinion about giants foot disease and general gameplay while it was fresh in my now mushed skull

Prey you don't get stepped on, and have fun standing around the fire lol. Not for the ADHD at heart.
Super Catboy (Neko danshi lol) - 318MB

Let me start out by saying I know the translation is incorrect but Kyattobōi doesn't translate properly and i'm not writing kanji symbols

This game is all its cracked up to be surprisingly, simple stupid fun...from a meow the minute the title screen pops up to a girl with a multiple weapons down to a rocket launcher helping you for no reason and insulting the hitler looking dogs that had you captive in the space ship she seems to have shot down with a handgun during the opening scene :ROFLMAO: even though she's carrying a rocket launcher and dash boots for a cat for some god forsaken reason

You get some basic attacks with the goal of collecting all the things in a level from coins to a hidden statue split in 4 pieces (of a cat, of course), which gains you...nothing but pride.

You can swing across vines, shimmy on ropes and slide down them like a real zipline.

You eventually dash megaman style but in different directions depending on the button allowing you to hop back fast or jump right into a pit because you hit the wrong button lol...luckily its merciful and doesn't kill you.

Its not hard by any means but it is flat out stupid fun and well worth picking the game up for some laughs over the dialogue alone and using a ninja cat heh.

I don't really have much to add, the game is simple but actually enjoyable, this gives me NEStalgia of how they were made back then, although I assume its going to be much shorter than an NES game due to the size, who knows.

This one ticks the box as ADHD approved.

Enjoy the meowment because I doubt many titles will get this kind of gameplay right...already hoping for a sequel

EDIT:

Don't mind me busting your balls Turdman, your still the shit (y)

But you should know i'm way too much of a pornographic arts "enthusiast" not to know the word for cat in Smutanese :p
Nice reviews :) (y) zoomed photo gives a more retro vibe, it looks like snes graphic.
You sure do know how to paint a picture, I hope Ken runs everything you said (your exact words) through his AI Photo Generator and comes up with something funny that helps me visualize it (and maybe gives us a link, I lost the link to whatever I used last time).

:D (y)
lol WN review looks interesting to be re-created by Ai gen lol I will do it later:ROFLMAO: AI link is dream.ai ;)

Free game on Steam:
Posted before Here, but if you missed it...might as well leave it for anyone else who did (y)
pass this it's chinese spyware from company Line.

Review of "Ghost Files: The Face of Guilt".
A nice, fairly short hidden-object game.

The hidden object puzzles are good. Most of the times the objects are clearly visible.
Sometimes they are too well hidden, because you can only see a small part of them.
This one took me some time. Where is that black queen?

no spoiler

There is an alternative to the hidden object game, called Monaco:

The minigames are fairly simple. And the game helps you a little.
But some solutions to the main story are not so straightforward.

Lockpick does not work, so smash it open with the tool ???

Most scenes are interesting to look at. An example:

The music and sound effects are nice enough.
There are some cut-scenes where there is talk.
It keeps the game moving in the right direction.
---
Played it like 4 times to get all achievements.
Those tarot cards and photos are hard to spot.
For achievement hunters, you only have to find the items you earlier missed to get the achievement badge.
There is no save/load possibility in the game. It just saves where you are when you quit.

Dark Devotion - 1GB

This game automatically makes you think of Castlevania, well its not...although the combat is more frustrating and the graphics look like scaled up pixel warped versions of it at least on my 4K monitor. I can't tell what resolution its trying to run the game at since the only option is Fullscreen on/off but I assume its definitely not 4K

The title screen graphic made me immediately think of Assassins Creed and even the pixel deformed monstrosity that appeared after it didn't quite kill my hopes for a decent game..but dropping down the first cliff with no way to jump back up did...

So your this Templar (master?) of both sword and bow, who was hit by every branch of the pixel tree on the way into creation (if it had more of a story I'll never know) who can evidently do everything EXCEPT what the hunchback of notre dame and forest gump can do (talk about a varied skill set), like jump, dash, climb a two foot rock edifice lol.

You can roll though, although being mapped to L/R for directions is suicidal once again...since they obviously couldn't map the analog and button at the same time (your bow ONLY shoots straight--no aiming), the attacks are slow and sloppy and the first boss doesn't have that problem (which is a problem)...did I mention its a one play run?

I see no option to continue, even though I did re-spawn after getting crushed by the large pixel version of gollum at the end of the level a few times heh. The dodge buttons made chances of survival minimal at best unless you retrained your thought process to 'shit indie' first for a few hours...and it took about 12 minutes to reach that point.

I ran into one 'puzzle' where it walked you through shooting a switch with your bow to cross a gap (getting interesting now ) unless you had run out of arrows before that since I haven't seen a way to refill your quiver, then I suppose you'd be pretty fucked right the and there :ROFLMAO:

You get poisoned (tutorial style) and have to pray to rid yourself of the curse, it also allows you to restore health by using 'faith' which you replenish by killing monsters and not needing health again after the fact...so, there is some skill level involved if general combat actually gets decent, but the difficulty difference between that and a back attacking giant boss are so extreme I can't see it ending up very well balanced at all.

I really wanted this to be one of the indie games that I didn't have to bash to death...but it just fails on so many basic concepts it doesn't have a prayer (pun-intended)

I have to say avoid this one unless your a glutton for punishment and bad...everything. so ya just avoid this one  ADHD or otherwise.

Sorry guys, even as an indie...you need to up your game. Next.
Great review,(y) ahha yeah it looks kinda Ezio!:ROFLMAO:
I would like to like those kind of games but I've eyestrain after a bit. Same with very dark games.
