Free upgrade for purchased version is good. Rotating characters can be fine to see if it is worth to unlock the full game. It would be better if there was a kind of ingame currency you can use to unlock characters as you can do some games. For example in League of Legends or Paladins there is free rotation characters you can select and you can also you unlock champions with ingame currency without spending any money,
This is how DOA 5 was, but if you hunt their DLC enough you'll eventually find the popular to play characters free at some point TO KEEP, and on top of that they used to rotate the test characters for the more popular boobs and the secret characters (like her twin which looks like the matrix version in a hoodie lol), can't remember the letters that were the name since they never let me use her  but I almost bought her because of Hitomi...that was good marketing.

My gameboy version of KI had more characters than that an fit on a 4 bit cartridge :ROFLMAO:

Judging by my Gala Giveaway section, I'm about due for a GA win for some shitty game I never wanted but decided someone might

Call it computational instinct lmao.
I won Cubicle Quest and Burst Squad this week after just entering every giveaway until my iS ran out. I'll end up giving them away but that little prize wheel animation is exciting to see, even if it's for games I didn't really want.
Never heard about this drink, I think it never arrived in Europe.
It's a very niche drink really only found around northeast US. Maybe since Coke bought it the distribution area has grown a bit but I doubt it's even spread west of the Mississippi here in the States.
Yeah that ginger, molasses, apple cider vinegar combo could definitely do that, though it sounds like something my wife would enjoy as she drinks apple cider vinegar straight out of bottle.
My mom does too. I tried it once and only once lol.

🤔 you really need to choose your words a little better sometimes lol.

Btw, thanks for the info on the artifact (y)
Well I only know there's massive amount of keys but not the exact amount, so really can't say many things about it, I was assuming it was around 1200+ keys but from the current discount probably seems to have much more unclaimed 😅

Can't argue there  and thats generally what everyone should be doing, its not like you can stack your silver lmao.

I tried sniffing pixie sticks and pepper once...doesn't mean it was a good idea :ROFLMAO:

Another one with a computational instinct from just watching enough ;)

Cheers to that my friend (y)

Weekly fighter? Well after my review this games getting uninstalled. you couldn't have even gave us the old fucking classics?

Just loaded it up...you literally get one character at 47 GB.

Pathetic.

End of ADHD review :ROFLMAO:

I played it a lot on SNES! Is the PC version different?

I want to believe the 47 GB download allows to fight against every character, calling home every week to know the only one character available to play with. Or is a 47 GB download every week to play with the one unlocked character in turn? o_O

Ya, you get no fighters and it has a battletoad lmao. I guess the second part would be neat...whenever you actually get to use them (IF you do)

You get ONE character a week, they likely do update and patch the entire 47 GB game...which is slower for me than a download since I store it on a mechanical drive after downloads use the SSD...never loved that new change since it was made, but I understand why they did it as well--to keep the servers free for downloading.

Regardless, I loaded training mode and had one character I've never heard of to use...I removed it right after without even playing since I wouldn't have known even the basics with that character to test the battle system.

I just reached the local courts for details about how to present evidence and put my case in motion...next week it happens.

Wish me good fortune and wish them a painful funeral...taking it to their teeth, the only reason I'm even waiting that long is to have help with the paperwork which they only do on certain days.

EDIT:

Almost forgot...can't have a statement of justice without warfare

Very different than SNES version. It was what we believed at the time, that it was an IMPOSSIBLE port to make on SNES. We were blown away that they could pull it off at all. The PC version is quite enhanced compared to that. Compare this video to the trailers on the new pc version.

Usually the entire game downloads once and then the game just unlocks a different character to play each week. New content that is created and added later may require an update. It shouldnt need to redownload 47gb for each fighter unless it was a demo version made with one fighter only and its not a demo, only has some limitation when not paid version.

Disagree, can't learn a character if you have to rotate.
I can see why you would prefer a demo with time limit rather than a single character lock weekly. You just have a week to learn a character in this one and no choice of character might mean you wouldnt get to check out the character you would use the most. Some people may just like that they can play it other than changing character for free. The price says 29.99 but apparently if you buy the older steam one somewhere it will upgrade to the anniversary one so just thought that might be a way to get a bit cheaper possibly.

Of course I loved Eternal Champions, I still own the original cartidge! Great game with its style!
Yes I don't remember other games Rare that are not from Nintendo, it was so big deal having arcade games ported on console.
(y) Heres the Sega CD version overkills and sudden deaths.

Valid argument, but the characters I wanted to try the game with in its entirety, I would have preferred the ones from the classic, as most ppl would...they could have at least unlocked them temporarily in demo fashion 🤷‍♂️

Why are we still going back and forth on this...I find the free version worthless personally, you don't. .its just a difference of opinion and preference, it says nothing more about the game than we have both already stated.

I wanted the test run to be familiar so I could give a valid opinion on the general game mechanics, unfortunately that wasn't how they made it. Nothing more.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a healthy debate with valid points...but I don't feel the game deserves this much attention either personally :ROFLMAO:

It 'might' would be more realistic, this usually only counts if you owned it previously, such is the case with games like Bright Memory / Infinite, I actually owned the classic before the release of Infinite and I'm almost sure if I bought it again after refunding it--it wouldn't unlock the RTX version for me. It all depends on how it was done on steams end.

If it works, thats some good info...but I wouldn't want to be the tester on the theory lol.
Very different than SNES version
That video is a bad representation of it (or maybe upscaling made it look like crap), I don't remember it being so colorful or as blocky myself--look more like hyper colored on a modern monitor with 6 color shades, maybe thats the arcade side I'm seeing.

Pure SNES here

I recall a more a dark atmosphere in my time playing it on a classic system and an old television meant for the time it was made..this isn't a statement of certainty, its just how I remember it myself.

And I'm totally over Killer Instinct for PC. If it wasn't a dead fish before from the lack of characters...we have burnt the candle for me in discussion alone
