Positive reviews so far. The only negative I found was by some guy/gal complaining about no support for Vive.

Interesting, well so much for them using full body motion

That game specifically says it requires a controller as well as VR, so that makes sense.

But, if you were imagining running up with your VR motion sensor controllers and making a biting motion...I would imagine automatically that you can't. So its a 2D system in a VR setting.

If my pre-pay had an extra few bucks on it I'd just buy it for an hour to end the mystery lol. Unfortunately I'm a little shy and I can't even refund it to that card because of the fact.

My plan was to do that, refund it to steam if I didn't want it and grab the other games, but I was also planning to wait for an actual sale, I expected it to be more expensive on release tbh so I didn't expect to even consider it yet.

EDIT:

I'm curious myself, of both the series and the VR aspect...I was only "sort of" doing it for you in truth. I'm intrigued because bloodlines 2 looked badass at first sight. Not sure about the fucking ghost of a stalker now

There is no point in buying the new game unless it's something you're absolutely sure you want to play - as I did when bought W40K Rogue Trader. Just started my 2nd playthrough yesterday although I have hundreds of complaints about it. :ROFLMAO:

I haven't found a game I 'want' to play in ages aside from Octopath, and I over-leveled myself so extreme on auto battle I half killed it for myself :ROFLMAO:

I lose interest because my attention span hops game to game and honestly...I have too fucking many these days not to let it happen. I need a long vacation from gala

EDIT:

Getting 80+ hours on Octopath II made it worth the price by itself...even if I never finish. Legit.

I'm better: 200 hrs on Rogue Trader... so far. :ROFLMAO:
Some games are perfect for revisiting in a year or two. So, Octopath II might still be finished.
I have a few titles I replay almost every year or two - all RPGs, obviously.

I have too good of a memory, and RPGs I obviously play for the story. I won't repeat games even for the last achievement usually because when I play them...I either don't finish or I finish completely and knock out EVER fucking thing there is, if I miss a trophy for difficulty its likely because I never knew it existed until it was too late.

I started Crisis Core on Hard Mode for that reason and refused to switch even while getting stomped on, until I read the steam guide that said you can switch right before the last battle

Normal mode it is, except I DID find a wicked easy money grind I can do on turbo by keeping it on Hard mode, one that doesn't work on easy since you get no gold for that battle.

EDIT:

I did do it alot years ago, no patience for it now. I've played FF6/7 and X/X2 multiple times

I've been debating this for the $3 but like you said, it looks ancient...

did it have controller support?
I don't think controller is supported natively  it was meant to play kb+mouse. yep very ancient game :ROFLMAO:

Just...no.

They can barely get driving right without a steering wheel setup, or shooting.

A mix of both and then add full 3rd person on top...fucking nightmare waiting to happen.
I guessed it would be a mess to drive without having a something physical in our hands xD
The problem with VR is they use weird motions for things...like just as an example, in one of my boxing games you have to hold your hands above your head to get up after being knocked down...and a different one you move your arms side to side to walk forward or backward.

That destroys it entirely...and because its not full body on Oculus yet at least, all the games want to be on both platforms. So it turns to shit.

Some games have you holster your gun to reload which is decent, yada yada...but you add too many commands in with only hand movement and two button controllers and its all shit.

If leg tracking worked for boxing there goes the stupid arm movements (which killed it horribly), etc etc.

Its just not even designed properly for all the games they release yet.

Ones where only arms are needed or the tracking of the headset itself to like duck...games like Superhot, shooters, and some sports are great, or just video. But full body motion isn't in all the hardware yet, so games that should rely on it, can't.

When your in a VR headset your literally blind, up is down, back is forward, etc...I end up facing the entire wrong direction after boxing and shit usually.

So trying to use a joystick usually isn't too ideal either 🤷‍♂️
What a mess! So VR open world game is not big deal. I should wait some more time for VR, when they can track better all body movements.
I was watching this video right now, metaverse is still a joke for mostly trolls

It depends on the games...for example, Spider Man: far from home VR is really good (might make your stomach turn lol), but really short.

I heard Batman Arkham VR was good too but more like a point and click mystery game (I own it but haven't tried it), Superhot is by far one of the best games I've ever played and I hate shooter-style games, its just done extremely well.

Thrill Of The Fight (boxing) is iconic...and will leave you dead in like 2 rounds if your not in good shape...and porn is worth having a headset alone 😅

Racing IMO generally requires a steering wheel, I wanted to get into it hardcore when I started (like iRacing online championships for cash), but I haven't been able to afford the setup. If I win this case against my landlord and get what I'm aiming for (or more), I'd definitely get the shit to do it...after getting a comfortable place to do it with that money, I mean thats the entire point.

They haven't been able to get action/adventure/rpg games to at point worth playing as far as I'm concerned...they need to drop the standards a little and try a turn based RPG where you just explore in VR or something, but they always aim too high and try to make combat the same way...and fail lol.

Its not that VR sucks, its more that the devs are always trying to make some VR masterpiece and forget that people playing might not care for their preferred motion to play.

VR is nice, but choosing your games carefully (or cheaply) is definitely a factor you need to be careful of.

Again, I have a wired oculus, so that fucks me on alot of games--especially if I don't have enough space to set it up right (like now), I bought it too early, the wireless sets cost almost the price to buy an add-on and make mine wireless...which would probably be shit anyways lol.

It depends what your looking for...I wanted to race, box, and watch porn--so I'm content :ROFLMAO:

Its really fun and I definitely suggest trying it if you get a chance, but buying a headset...once your past the hype and first rush of it all. Depends what you expect to get from it, boxing alone is worth it for me...i need the exercise lol
