And that's what I'm talking about! Can you believe that there are people expecting Visual novels to be done in 4K?

Same with frame rates. Nobody can see a difference between 30 fps and 60 fps UNLESS you told them previously. In fact, the human eye is so imperfect that 24 fps is enough. The only time you can notice it is if it's animation and some of the frames are not perfectly drawn.

I can notice it in fucking ren'py...your old and blind (the screen tears )

well I cant bitch...yet, no idea what it even is

I never heard of it either until today but I already finished it.

You play as once loyal knight, now betrayed, killed and sent to abys in an eternal depth loop. Your task is to take out last angel. They are 5 levels (called layers) and they are short 10 minutes or so but very hard. You fight some bug like creatures. I died 100 times or more in 3-4 it took me to finish it. Brotao is better in my opinion 9/10. This one is more like 6 for me. Try, you might like it.

From my computer chair to mid desk at 4K makes a difference...what DOESNT help is being close up for LARGE screens...I find my 27" 4k 144hz monitor perfect...maybe i'd go 32" if they even had one with all these features that wasn't Ultrawide from a brand I liked. The 4k is like night and day, much more than you really realize the refresh rate IMO, colors become extra crisp which makes all the details stand out from shadows and distance like you wouldnt believe. You don't want a hige monitor right in your face or you'll seebthe squares of each section...thats much worse. You need a 55"-65" or so when your sitting 8 feet away on a couch...and bigger belong in theaters or mansions.

Yea, I don't like being too close to a large screen either. For my tiny room 27" is probably max I can go in terms of size but I'll have to stick to 1080p for now as I only have 3060 12gb graphics card paired with Intel 12400f. If would be great if they would make a decent 27" 4K dual mode screens*. 4K for desktop and simpler/older games but 1080p for harder to run titles. (*4 pixels become 1 in 1080p mode because 4k is exactly 4 times 1080p)
