Deadlight: Director's Cut GA in 2 hours 36 mins ⏳
missed it but own the base version.

EDIT:

Seems everyone missed it lol.

Lenovo not stocking enough keys either now.

Evidently from Ausf's comment they likely had 5-10k keys for the gaming community nationwide plus bots...ya that'll be plenty

Still better than AWA with 5K for this one, Dune: Awakening with 3 keys and god only knows how many keys for System Shock 2: 25th Remaster:ROFLMAO:. Also, looks like POPUCOM is co-op only, no solo.🤔

It was 5k keys, and even people that joined as it started were in 18k position. So it's doubtful any of them got any. I assumed some people would drop out, so stayed at 5.6k.

Street Fighter IV next, and if you want a key, you have to get in the queue before it starts. That's why I mentioned it. Of course it goes on sale for a few dollars, so no great loss if you CBF spending time on getting it free.

My system clock was a minute off ! I have a feeling I'm going to quit the Lenovo game giveaways like I did the Alienware ones. They should require people to link their non-limited Steam accounts to enter the giveaway.

I got Devil May Cry HD Collection so now I have to decide to play Devil May Cry 1 or DmC first. 🤔

I own it, no point in denying someone who doesn't.

Both good...and both biggest issues are camera angles on PC IMO, although Devil May Cry 1 is the same as the classic and they are meant to be that way, where the DMC port isn't intentional amd may have been an attempt to add multi monitor aupport or something I never used myself...but I played DMC at least 5 times over in one run trying to get unlimited Devil Trigger which is a DLC for the PC port...bottom line is I know what I'm saying there. Either way it doesn't really ruin the game, it just felt off to me personally so I couldn't play it how I was used to and any game in the series requires some skill curve.

Points to take into consideratuon:

DMC was made after Devil May Cry (obviously) but the story is a point in time BEFORE Devil May Cry, so it has more advanced combat and puzzle mechanics (such mutiple weapon switching combos)

The story in DMC was meant for new players but also throws puns at the classics you may or may not get without playing them first, at least until after you do...it won't ruin the game (DMC was the first I truly played through myself) but some things might go over your head until after.

DMC is much more comfortable for modern players, where Devil May Cry has an almost Resident Evil classic control and camera system that'll take some time to grow on you at first...but playing that will make the combat in DMC that much easier to learn since the basics are all the same and you don't get bombed with 5 weapons in the first 10 levels.

The real order of the series goes like this:

Devil May Cry HD 1-3 (the classics not HD)
Devil May Cry 4
DMC: Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 5

In this particular choice since it was a prequel reboot its really a matter of preference and which one you can stand to get into the series, any gsme besides this option I would say to play in order so if your itching to play DMC then do it before starting the other 4 games, if you want to play them in the true order then save it for last. I played it first and that was the best decision for me because it gave me a love for the series that made me deal with the older cameras and controls just for the story.

Out of the three classics, part 1 is still decent and aged well and part 3 is likely the best for controls and cameras...part 2 is probably the flop out of them all since the controls go sideways (again just like resident evil--but not as bad)

Yeah, but be aware that even if you join early, your position will be assigned randomly. So it's a matter of luck...

Yeah, I think Street Fighter IV will be the same or maybe even less. Their best giveaway ever was Scum for me, I still sometimes go and play solo, explore, and even sometimes try to build a base, but yeah, those games are always grindy, plus I don't have as much time to spend, and doubt even if I had, I would play like I was playing Ark years ago
