I got a message about "Inconsistent Data Detected!" after chopping 8/8 trees on the first game today, which added 4 seconds malus:

and won two games:
1. Watering 16/16 plants.
2. Hoeing 62/60 clods.

That happens occasionally. In that case, go to your profile and then click the Challenge link from the main page again (hitting F5 on an open Challenge tab doesn't do the trick).

I love the Idea, but honestly.... this is the THIRD TIME i got a key, that was already activated by someone else... and everytime it happend when I won with already one penalty in place.... and since there is no way for me to find out, for what game it would have been, even if i get a different code from support which is a tier 1 key i feel weird... maybe i would finally have gotten a tier 2 or even 3 key....

Got another key from watering challenge, game was Turba, but it was a duplicate.

I love the Idea, but honestly.... this is the THIRD TIME i got a key, that was already activated by someone else... and everytime it happend when I won with already one penalty in place.... and since there is no way for me to find out, for what game it would have been, even if i get a different code from support which is a tier 1 key i feel weird... maybe i would finally have gotten a tier 2 or even 3 key....

I like the giveaway challenge idea. It is fun to try to win keys. I have been able to win two keys over the past couple of days. The first was for a game I already had Commandos 3: Destination Berlin. No fault there, since I already owned it. I can give that away. The second key was already activated by another user, for the game Alien Shooter 2: Conscription. That's more of a bummer. It would be nice if Indiegala would filter out duplicate keys.

I got two duplicate key as well today. the giveaway is awesome but the duplicate key have to go. other than that, keep up the good work.

I gave the key for Commandos 3 to a friend, and it turned out to be duplicate as well. It didn't tell me it was duplicate because I had the game already. Bummer. Two dupe keys.

1) I've got a key for a specific game three times. When checking if the keys are still valid, I get a connection time out error message of late. This happens with all 3 keys I have of the same game - and only with the keys for that game! This didn't use to always happen: back when I won my second copy of the key I'd get the usual "This account already owns this product" message. Has anybody had the same issue?

2) Yesterday I won a key for a game which is forbidden in my country. But there seems no way to determine which game this key activates. I'd like to make a giveaway of it, but in that case I need the name... Does anybody know of a workaround?

1) Did you try it on the Website?
2) There is an easy way if you are familiar with the Browser Console

1. Open https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey
2. Open Browser Console (F12)
3. Go to Network Tab
4. Try to activate the Key
5. In the Network tab should be a response from "/account/ajaxregisterkey/" click on it
6. Click on the response Tab and scroll down
7. For reference see my screenshot.

Seems like even the name is censored. Didn't know. Only tested with already owned and duplicates, which worked. Don't have any non available Game Keys at the moment.

Got an interesting glitch right now: I payed off three seconds of penalty, started a challenge, and less than a second after it began (just enough time to pick up the tool) the game gave me a message that I don't have enough GalaSilver to play and kicked me out.
I'm not sure how much silver I had, so I'm guessing that I only had 150 and the "Buy time or play anyway" window didn't perform a check to see if I had enough silver to actually play before loading the level.
EDIT Or the current Gameplay Giveaway closed just as I started playing.

I've tried to reproduce it just now and indeed, if you spend all your silver buying time, you can still start the challenge, but it will kick you out in less than a second.
I wonder if my 4 seconds stay bought when I get try again in half an hour
EDIT Nope, they're gone. I'm still on the same challenge though.
