Are you still working of fixing Challenge error for the rest of us?. It was working ok for me and i belive for others also, before everything went south...

Hi all of you. We work every day as usual ;-)

We 've seen thousands of new users and challenges played today.
The duplicated keys bug is solved ( was a momentary glitch )
as well as many other bugs.

We'd like all of you to be able to play of course, albeit some issues ( like temporary ban ) may be not bugs but security triggers.
So, in the specific, what kind of problem do you experience exactly today when you try to connect?

The game's freezing as soon as it loads the main menu:

The quality is a bit crap, but you can easily see how the cursor stops moving the moment the game freezes and even the windows pointer only shows up when I move the mouse away from the page.
It's been like that for me since the 18th. As I mentioned before, the challenge only worked twice - once on the 18th at at 11:09 and the second time on the 19th around 22:18-22:27 where it allowed me to play several times before starting to freeze again.
If I use Firefox I can wait 5 minutes after which the page unfreezes, but clicking the "Challenge" button only results in the "Giveaway locked due to suspicious activity" message. It doesn't seem to unfreeze like that in Chrome.
I tried 4 different computers and that bug is present on all of them.

For me it also freeze right after clicking on Challenge button, Please Wait windows lags out in the middle of the screen.

That's exactly what happens to me. Please Wait starts to come on the screen after clicking the Start button, and it just stalls. Then a yellow banner pops up that says, "A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?" It gives two options - Stop It or Wait. If I wait, nothing happens.

I have tried clearing cache, using another browser, turning off IPv6... Nothing has worked. I get the same results every time.

On a side note, I wish I could upload a picture, but for some reason I always get an error when I try to upload.

Question: does the page freeze if you don't click "Challenge" and wait for a bit? Or does it freeze ONLY after clicking the "Challenge" button?

Check how large the file is - I had that problem when a screenshot I tried to upload was over 2MB.

Check how large the file is - I had that problem when a screenshot I tried to upload was over 2MB.

I think after click, but i am not sure, becasue i click Challenge right after page loads. Ive seen 3 types of Please Wait window lagging out...before it reaches middle, when it reaches middle and then page is frozen and when loading dots next to Please... are working but dont do anything.

Thanks for fixing that so quickly! Can we also ask what we're supposed to do with the extra keys we got as a result of the bug? Will they be revoked? I still haven't touched them, just in case....

Also is anybody else getting "502 Bad Getaway" now when they click on big green button to "Play" the challenges?

Whatever you did seems to have worked somewhat:
The game doesn't freeze for me at the moment, so I played six challenges just now, but every single time I got "Inconsistent data detected" at the end. Also the first time I attempted to play, I got a "suspicious activity" message as soon as the chopping trees challenge started, but the game let me play the same challenge on my next attempt. Also I didn't get malus for any of those challenges.
So there's definitely some progress, hope you get everything ironed out in the end!

I also got "502 Bad gateway" after my third or fourth attempt and just going back to the https://www.indiegala.com/gameplay-giveaway and pressing the green "Play" button worked fine. I occasionally got this error before (very rarely) and reloading or going back and loading the page again would always work.

Well it's not "502 bad gateway" anymore, but it's still not working. It let me enter 4 times and the first time it kicked me out after playing for like 18 seconds for "suspicious activity" (so in the middle of my first challenge), then I got 3 incosistency errors (I won 3 times, but inconsistency every time, did not receive malus though, so that's good, but galasilver is gone). Think I'm gonna skip it today

it did not work today, tried that several times. but the challenge went offline for like 1 hour or so and the "502" error got resolved but not this inconsistency bug appeared instead

Tried one more challenge just now and got a "You won the challenge but there was an error processing your request" message. Perhaps that's what happens now, when you finish the challenge as it goes offline?

Oh yeah, that happened to me once like 3 months ago or so, if the challenge goes offline while you're playing, you're getting this message
