Anyone ever get the galcred bug happen mid game like shown in this picture? I was actively moving around and mining and then suddenly it popped up and clicking "ok" booted me from the game. I assume I lost the silver I paid anyway.

Now I can't start a new game, galcred is blocking it.

"While support says that "After 3 negative feedbacks your profile will be banned "
I think that would be stupid honestly , banning someone after 3 negative feedback, especally since Indiegala knows that many of members are giving out the games they won in the giveaway challenge. Banning someone over something that person doesn't have a control over it seems nonsensical. I think what is much more important is having a "healthy " positive to negative ratio . Mine is at 179/4, I could have two more negatives feedback but luckily Keeper of Monsters and one more member were kind enough to contact me .

Phew! Glad I could get a couple of keys earlier before they took it down again. Been having better luck the past day or so. Didn't get anything that's struck me as particularly great, mind, but each key has worked! I mean, I got a DLC code for a game I don't have, but that's just a free giveaway right there.

This isn't super related, but do people sign up for DLC giveaways even if they don't have the game? Maybe I just live under a rock, but I hadn't realized 1300 people liked Crazy Machines 2 enough to have the game and want the DLC, but not enough to get the DLC. It jumped up really quickly.

Is there a way to see the frame rate of the game or otherwise tell if the game is running slow?

I don't know how to check exact FPS, but you can try running the game in different browsers and see how smooth the cursor moves in the menu before starting the challenge. Just try drawing a figure eight with mouse and see if it feels like the game is skipping frames. Then play in the browser that feels more smooth.

Using chrome or a chromium based browser by chance? Had terrible fps for a long time and used Firefox instead. Enabling hardware-acceleration under chrome://settings finally fixed it for me

It's been more than 24 hours since I last won a game, and mostly since I last played. And back when I did win I paid to reduce down my Malus by 3. So this is wrong in lots of of ways.

Never seen malus reset bug out. Also it's not actually 24 hours since your last win, malus just resets every 24 hours.
And malus reduction that you buy works for one challenge only, whether you win or lose, or even just reload the page without actually starting the challenge, and it's gone. Learned that the hard way when I accidentally spent all silver on buying time and got booted from the challenge at the start since I didn't have galasilver.

- Malus removal through Galacredit works on a per-challenge basis
- this means that malus removal by Galacredit is valid only for that particular challenge you play.

Hello there,

Is there somewhere in this Forum where it would be explained the point of giving levels to a giveaway : is keeping a giveaway for lvl 7 or 8+ gives more xp or it's just to give the choice to key owners to give their keys to people they want ?

Malus resets at a set time every 24 hours? So if I were to win, I could have the malus reset a hour latter? What time?

Regardless, if it's been more than 24 hours since I played, it should have reset either way.

Exactly, in my case is 1am (CET); add or subtract to mine timezone based on yours to know your reset time ;)

I've never experienced it, it's strange but it wouldn't surprise me

Hi, you get the same XP regardless of level you assign to giveaway. You can only assign a level as high as your own or lower, but never higher. I find there are lesss "dishonest" members as you climb ranks - less likely to be given negative feedback for no good reason etc. Also in my experience they give feedback slightly faster. No other benefit. See here Giveaways — IndieGala help & documentation portal 1.0 documentation

Moreover, imho, the main benefit is the greater chance to win the giveaway because there are fewer players at highest levels that can join to it.
