2. why are you sending codes to your email? aren't you redeeming them? you can just reveal them in browser without entering email address
You can click on "Gift link #" to enter the code page too, no need to send it to your email.
I'd still recommend sending the gifts to yourself, because sometimes the library glitches out and doesn't show dates, so having only new wins with the "Send" button can be very handy to find them easily.

That's exactly what i do too.

And i played until i got to 20s, and won 2 keys, the other 3 went in the limbo of the king's notice.

Thanks!
It's not helping me with my freezes, but while I was messing around with my network adapter and router settings, I just left the tab with https://feudalife.indiegala.com/?challenge=1 open and after around 5 minutes it actually unfroze by itself! :D
And of course now it tells me "Giveaway locked due to suspicious activity" :poop:
I'm not even angry - just disappointed.
The freezing is probably caused by something else, have not played enough to encounter it myself yet.

Here is a way to do it (in french, but there are the english names) : https://www.sony.fr/electronics/support/articles/00022311

It worked for me, i could access the page, i made a sick sickling score (80/60), but i'm still waiting for the "astonishing" window to appear...
This is the way i used as well. Though I would only turn it off while playing the game, as leaving it that way might break other websites.

Anybody else receiving an server error text after winning a key? it count towards malus points and says that i've won the key but it never apears in my account... Had the same issue yesterday. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes I get the server error message...

Wow thank you dude, it worked ! I go 2 steam keys and then I should have get a third one but I refresh the page before getting the King notice since the winning message would not come. Now if I click on challenge it tells me "please wait..." so I guess I should try later.

They have buffed all the challenges except "Killing archers" (maybe I'm wrong but I didn't see any substantial differences) and nerfed the "Hoeing".

EDIT: time to see if the malus removal bug is gone 🤓
UPDATE: They re-nerfed "Pickling" and re-buffed "Hoeing" 😬

One more thing about what I said yesterday, the "Sickling" challenge now has tufts of grass that can be removed with one sickle stroke.

I cant wait to check the new update.
When it works for me I mean. :(
But its pretty cool that sickling now has the 1 strike grass too, will possibly open up the challenge to slightly higher malus.

Before I couldn't play because it says my internet is insecure, and now it's doing it again(does it with different browsers). Anyone else have this problem?
This site can’t provide a secure connection
feudalife.indiegala.com sent an invalid response.

Coming back to the SSL error, the most hassle-free way of fixing this problem (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR on chrome, PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR on firefox, other browsers might differ) on our side (as players) is to add the IPv4 address of feudalife into your hosts file. DO NOT BLINDLY TRUST ANY PROPOSED CHANGES TO YOUR HOSTS FILE, YOU MIGHT GET SCREWED OVER. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANYTHING, BETTER WAIT FOR AN OFFICIAL SOLUTION. To be 100% on the safe side, look up the correct IPv4 of feudalife.indiegala.com yourself either by using "nslookup feudalife.indiegala.com" in your command prompt, or use any of the available dns lookup services. I advise everyone who tries this fix to make a copy of their current hosts file, so you can revert to it's original state as soon as the problem gets fixed by IndieGala.

To add the address to your hosts file, you need to start the text editor as administrator, and open the file "hosts" located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc (For other windows versions, other operating systems or if you just want to have a guide with pictures, check this guide)

After opening the file, add the following to the bottom of the file: 45.79.248.227 feudalife.indiegala.com

Save the file, and the ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR should no longer appear, and there is no need to play with any network adapter settings.

This should work for now, if the game changes it's IP at some point you will have to either completely delete the line from your hosts file, or change it to the new address. This will not fix any issues regarding freezing, not correctly counted wins, duplicate keys, Please Wait signs, fetching user data issues or anything along those lines, this only fixes the ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR (chrome) / PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR (firefox), and again, I advise to revert your hosts file to it's original state as soon as the problem gets fixed by IndieGala.

EDIT: To explain what this fix does: Usually, a computer can't understand the fancy words of an URL, so it asks a DNS server for the IP. Depending on your PC settings and your ISP, this answer might be provided in IPv6 format (looks something like this: [2001:4860:4860::8888] <- google DNS address, there might be letters in there aswell). For other settings / ISPs this answer might be given in IPv4 format (127.0.0.1, the classic way). Now, since Feudalife's IPv6 configuration seems to be broken at the moment, we can not connect to it on this way. The IPv4 address works without problems though, so we want to use it. To do this, we add the IPv4 address to the hosts file. Technically, the PC first checks the hosts file for fitting IPs, so it will now use the IP address written down there instead of asking the DNS. This can become problematic if Feudalife ever moves to a different IP address, so it would be best to remove the entry as soon as the problem is fixed.

I reached this problem now as well, looking into the console it throws an error a few seconds after clicking on "Challenge":

"Uncaught RangeError: Invalid string length" in Chrome and "allocation size overflow" in Firefox, both in MediavelleyTest.js line 4544.

It just worked for me, WOO!
The tree chopping and rock smashing challenges are a lot faster now - gotta get used to new rhythm, but I think the trees are possible in 40 seconds and almost certain that the rocks are possible in that time.
The framerate in grass challenge was a bit choppy for me, so it was a bit tricky to manoeuvre to get the most advantage out of the new single hit tiles.
Archers and picking saplings seem the same as before.
Hoeing is either the same as before or a tiny bit faster, hard to tell if there's any difference.

The main menu is acting a bit weird - after I click the challenge button to get the screen, where you can buy off malus, the framerate drops hard, but in the challenges themselves it was mainly OK - only noticed hiccups in sickling grass and hoeing challenges.
After running through challenges I tried loading the main game to turn off the music and lower the graphics quality, but it was still freezing the page.

EDIT And now the challenge page is freezing again. 🤨
Guess I got really lucky.

Thats actually pretty smart.
Nah, smart would've been doing it from the start, as opposed to going through about a year worth of wins, trying to find the new ones and sorting that mess out of necessity 😆

I'm still getting the Please Wait... notification. After a few seconds a banner shows up that says a web page is being slowed down. I have not tried any type of adjustment to make it work other than clear out the cache which didn't do anything.

Managed to win hoe challenge with 40 sec , my personal record 💪 :D
Have they updated it again then? Because when I played yesterday the saplings picking was WAY buffed, won it at 16 malus with like 1 or 2 seconds left to spare. On the other hand I was absolutely unable to finish hoeing which used to be the easiest, I could only get about 45 tiles in 40 secs which is the worst personal perfomance in like 4 months.

EDIT: okay so yeah, saplings is as slow as it used to be but hoeing is SO SO fast like all the little guy does in his free time is take performance-enhancing drugs. guess I could win that one again :D

With the new updates, imho, my advice is to start challenges in this order:
  1. Fighting
  2. Picking
  3. Hoeing
  4. Chopping
  5. Sickling
  6. Mining
  7. Watering
At the moment, "Fighting" is the most RNG-based challenge and "Picking" is the slowest.
