everything worked fine for me today, I did some test runs and here are the results (written as
result-percentage of total goal achieved-
reward):
sickling (2 runs):
59/60- 98,33%-
$0,01;
47/60- 78,33% -
$0,01
mining (2 runs):
13/14 - 92,85% - $0,02;
11/14 - 78,57% - $0,01
watering (2 runs):
15/16 - 93,75% -
$0,02;
14/16 - 87,5 % -
$0,01
archers (2 runs):
8/9 - 88,88% -
$0,02;
7/9 - 77,77% -
$0,01
picking samplings (3 runs) -
39/40 - 0,975% -
$0,02; 32/40 - 80% -
$0,01;
31/40 - 77,5% -
$0,01
hoeing (2 runs) -
59/60 - 98,33 % -
$0,01;
57/60 - 95% -
$0,01
trees (2 runs) -
5/8 - 62,5% -
$0,00;
7/8 - 87,5% -
$0,02 (not 100% sure about this, forgot to write it down but I did the math based on my account balance before and after the challenges)
I don't have enough data but it seems all challenges have a common treshold of approx 70-75% to get $0,01 and then varying threshold for $0,02 (maybe the treshold is (X-1)/X, so if you come just 1 short of goal, you get $0,02 with exceptions I mentioned) which is max you can get. Sickling and hoeing appear to only give $0,01 no matter what (maybe they are deemed the easiest challenges?)
so today I got $0,19 total and 5 keys, which is very very generous.
Only thing that I encountered (and may be totally coincidental or maybe even just on my side) is that the "you win" message (regardless of whether I won key or credits) took longer to appear than in the last 2 weeks.
thanks @
Kaitzschu for correcting my mistake, 7/8 trees does indeed give
$0,02 not $0,01
You didn't mention how much malas you were running under. So you got 5 keys in in one day? (before any reset?) I don't see how that's possible. Some I know I ran near perfect and I still can seemingly only make it with zero malas. For example twig picking I can now only win with zero malas, even though I do it well.
I try not to be super jealous when people talk about getting 5 keys in a day when I can maybe get 2, 3 if I buy down malas. It gets especially frusterating when I read about the limited supply of keys and thus those getting 5 mean they make it harder for me too sooner.
And some other stuff I struggle with where I don't do things perfectly and don't get anywhere close.
Tree cutting, trying aim and hit the tree you want to, trying to plan next hits because the trees around you go very transparent, counting hits is too hard so I typically just keep clicking till the tree goes down. I haven't found any way of cutting that results in it going faster. Trying to tell in a quick moment whether a tree is big or small. I can't do it even with zero malas.
Archer killing, just bloody impossible, it's never worked to park myself next to one of the spawn points, they don't spawn quick enough in one spot for that. I've learned that you must hit a archer once or twice then run past them so they miss you and then finish them off, but still tricky, especially with multiple archers in the area shooting at you. I've never won archer killing. I don't even usually do well enough to get a penny for my troubles.
Hoeing, Trying to aim for those spaces is damn hard, torn between hitting twice for grass or running past for bare ground (and thus more likely to have aim be off) Considering I need 60 of them and at best I got 60 seconds, not sure how this is possible.
Watering, the aim can be off, but even if it isn't I still never win. I can seemingly do my watering perfectly and still fail by a fair amount, I've rarely won this even with zero malas. I find left right left right and then down works best, the 4 corners increases my chance of bad aim with no benefit. The time it takes to turn left and right and water is about the delay necessary anyway.
Mining I can win if the dark stones are set right, and even win with a bit of malas. I've learned the sound of the hits change tone and I listen to that tone for approximately when to stop so I don't over-hit.
Mowing is about the only way I can win with malas now. I can't overthink it, I just got to keep pushing in a direction and swinging. I can try to see what batch of grass is up next and figure how much I need to mow before moving on, but if I one hit a budding plant that needs two, it's not usually worth it to turn and hit the missed plant.
Please have a game frame-rate display!
And some of these games you win, I hope these keys you buy are for great discount because some of these games cost a fair amount on steam and still have horrible reviews. I got a game expansion that was way overpriced for another game that was way overpriced, both with horrible reviews.
Or in the case of Mount & Saddle, the reviews all say Warband is the best, and costs as much as other versions on Steam, Yet it seems no ones won the Warband version.
