Feedback on the quiz as a whole:

Most of today's hints were good, though H7 stand out a bit.
It doesn't exactly direct the participant to the most relevant piece of info.

H7: Professor Flitwick teaches enunciation
While anyone who read the books (or at least saw the movies) years ago would likely be able to remember the most prominent spells featured in the first book (or film), I can imagine those who didn't to be completely lost on this one.
The hint alludes to proper pronounciation, and not to the specific spell the question asked for.
Without preliminary knowledge, I'd say there's a good chance of people answering this one incorrectly.

I won't say I'd be able to think of a better hint, but it could probably be better than what it was.

Regarding the available answering-options.... One could well say that the fourth option (Expelliarmus) qualifies as a correct answer too, as it makes the opposing caster's wand literally fly out of their hand.
Thinking it over a bit more, Expelliarmus probably qualifies more than Wingardium Leviosa for this one, as the latter doesn't make things fly, but rather levitate.

It's hard to really say, since I'm familiar with that fandom, but H7 seems OK to me when taken with quiz's theme of Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone. Since only the first book matters, you can look up Flitwick and see that the only charm mentioned for that period is Levitation Charm.

"Making things fly" is in the official definition of Levitation Charm, so 🤷‍♂️

PS While preparing for the quiz I found out that Quirrell's turban has it's own article on HP wiki :ROFLMAO:

screwed up on Q5, thought something about the professor's name/relationship with Voldemort, so I randomly picked hijab(for women) instead of turban(for men) :ROFLMAO:

I too am sufficiently familiar with it, and thus the question proved no match to me.
But try to place yourself in a position where you DON'T have the intel you have. Try to view the hint as someone who has no preliminary intel on the subject. ;)

That's... exactly what I was trying to do.
Although "enunciation→Levitation Charm" might be a bit of a jump for someone unfamiliar with HP, the hint also mentions teaching, and Wingardium Leviosa seems to be the only thing Flitwick teaches that year. So not that big of a jump maybe?

Maybe someone less informed would give us better perspective?
Hey @alphapluspt you said you never saw the movies or read the books, how did you prepare for Q7? And how does my idea of preparing with its hint sound to you?

PS When googling the hint itself that's the third result for me:

One spell per year.... That sounds efficient ;p
Translate to muggle-school: "All right, class. This year we'll be focusing on 2+2. By the end of the year you should have learned this..."
Just a little funny thought that popped into my head...

Not really. Consider the amount of engineering work to actually make things fly. Sounds quite a handful for the first year ;)

Could replicate the results by simply using a leaf blower to cause the Bernoulli effect. ;p

Edit: Come to think of it.... The spell could be replaced by a wind-related one to replicate AND enhance and improve the intended effect of Wingardium.

No technical issues encountered today.
Didn't go deep enough when researching H5 though, so.... 9/10

At least I wasn't the only one who fail at that one...
730

Seems a lot of people got that one wrong.
No surprise though. Doug Jones was the most prominent name I found when looking it up.
In fact, I didn't even notice Ron Perlman at all...

Edit:
I'm calling mistake on #5:
Ron Perlman worked with Del Toro on 3 films while Doug Jones made 6 together with him.
Yeah... I'm actually taking a second look at it right now.

on wiki it says Ron Perlman (Cronos, Blade II, Hellboy, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Pacific Rim, Book of Life, Trollhunters, Pinocchio, Nightmare Alley) - 9 movies.
But yeah favorite actor can be interpreted quite differently from person to person
