There's always "in the middle of the night" somewhere...

Then i have an weird Idea maybe, then make 2 or 3 Groups and Quizzes.

Find out which Timezone the People are or where they from and then make for them each a Quiz always at the best Time for them. Maybe so that only for them the Quiz is visible and can Enter or something like that. So not that People miss the Quiz and other get Up in the Top. So means each new Lists too, for each Timezone maybe.

Sounds weird and maybe impossible, or maybe not that impossible, i dont know. But the Idea is born, maybe can think and make something out of it, so everyone can be happy and the Team could make it possible.

I've had a similar thought myself, but i doubt it's one that'll be put to use. It'll probably require a complete redisign of how the quiz works, which in turn might (I'm not saying it WILL, but that it MIGHT) bring new problems into the mix too. Aside from one hiccup a few rounds ago (and the constant reports of the quiz not registering one answer, mostly the first, for a lot of people), it's been smooth sailing for quite some time now.

My thoughts on this was the following (PM'd to one of the admins):

It might require some new system in terms of how the quiz works, but a thought just popped into my mind.

As is obvious, one can't satisfy everyone around the globe with one, static time-stamp for when the quiz is to start.
One option could be to have the quiz change when it starts every now and then, though that'd most likely cause an uproar, as people who are used to being able to participate will complain about it now taking place during their local night-/work-/school-time, thus rendering them no longer able to participate 100%.

The thought that just popped into my mind: Run the quiz twice (or more) on different hours.
Required: Coding to prevent any users from participating twice.
Downsides:
1) For those who might be able to participate on both (or more) rounds, it could be an option to create a dummy-account to participate in the first round they're able to parttake in and log the questions/answers to ensure a 10/10 on their real account
2) One could simply request a friend to supply them with the correct answers


Another thing to keep in mind is that the handout of prize-credits would need to be delayed untill the last repeat-round of the day has concluded.

...but by "lists", do you mean "leaderboards" or "questions/answers"?
Either way, I can think of a shared problem with both; People who are able to participate on multiple timestamps would be able to take advantage of this. Even if they were barred from participating more than once with their account, there's nothing stopping them from creating secondary accounts to participate in a second round.

Additionally...
1) If the same questions/answers were used, those who'd be able to participate early could easilly make use of their gathered intel to gain an easy 10/10 on any successive quiz they might be able to participate in.
2) If the questions/answers were changed to prevent this potential exploit, some might complain that those who participated in the earlier/later rounds were given easier/harder questions.

And then it all comes full circle; One can't please everyone, regardless of how much one wishes to do so...

I had same problem. Only 2-nd question was incorrect, but I answered correct (Andorra) and in time... Finished with 9 of 10 correct answers.
On other side the quiz is really good.

Well today the quiz is buged out as hell. 1 questions all wrong then nothing for a few min, then magicaly changes to question 3 with all options to -, then changes to 4th question with 2 sec to answer, then lag and process results. So yeah nice quiz today

Something is wrong about live quiz - for me 2-nd in row.
I had 10 green (correct answers), got 550 points and i am NOT in winners list and got NO gala$...
Damn, i didn't make a screenshot.

Maybe i closed page "processing results..." very fast.

as far as we can tell there are no results in yet... the winner list is still the old one and the quiz page itself is still processing results... and the timer hasn't been reset. so no worries... if there will be winners, you still have a chance to get your share ^^

I check the list of winners and see that several users with 0 points are in it. Some with a score other than 550 are also. In my case I hit 10/10 and yes, 550 points and I'm not on the list. In the last quiz, the second question is correct (Andorra la Vella) and is it wrong? Is it really all right? Two quiz and two bugs Fix plz

I got the first Question showed as wrong, but i clicked the right Answer and others where correct in green, like always. But after the End, hanging and loading and loading. I refreshed the Page and i see at least 550 Points, so it counted my first click too, but i dont know if im in the List now or not, normally should be and also get my Prize, after they fixed their Problem now, whatever they have again.

Got today also a screenshot, was fast enough now.

And here my Points



We will see it tomorrow, later if our Gala Credits are higher or not and if we in the List.

Besides, i know, it doesnt belong here normally. But i dont know where to ask else, i opened a Thread, but no Answer yet. But i saw that from one day to a other, that Ni No Kuni is gone from the Shop, so sad. I wanted to save my Gala Credit for the Prince Edition and now its gone, silently. Does someone knows more about it, why it was removed? And if its coming back sometime again? Thanks for Answer and sorry for asking here.

Thank you everyone, all of your feedback is of great value. I will make a report and send it to the tech team (they'll have a look into it Monday most probably).

I will not touch anything from the quiz, it is stuck for me as well on the processing results phase, so I will let the tech expert look into it and properly distribute the galacredit/points etc.

Mentioning also about why to around 10% of the people (maybe more) sometimes when they get the visual glitch (the one that shows a question wrong visually, but it is counted as correct in the end), some also get the visual glitch + missing points, not sure if correlation = causation in this case, but I hope that the tech team will inspect it and figure it out, so that everyone can have a pleasant experience and spend some credits on some games, silver or other stuff.

LOL probably because the list hasn't been updated, i won the quiz prior to the saturday one but was unable to take part in the last one due to a power outrage, hence i still in the list but with 0 points. That should be proof that the results had been processed but not updated.

Yes, a friend of mine said to me that he had to use his phone to answer the quiz twice.

Maybe its just a test again, it shows also here that in 3 hours will be a Quiz. Not sure yet, since the big Problem from the last Quiz. And to the List, left still very old with bugs. But the right List seems to work. All People there had both Quiz right. Thats why full Points, i guess. ^^

Back then the timing was 0 0 0 0 for me, good to know. And the post on the steam group is up saying there will be a quiz today!
