Ok, I have returned, I have been away during the weekend so I reused the same quiz. Looking into preparing some fresh ones for this week.
Tech team didn't quite inform me if everything was solved, but based on the feedback some still didn't get their credit, I guess
support@indiegala.com can have a look into it, because I personally do not have access to award individually credit (sorry).
As for the visual glitch missing points I personally don't know if it is still occurring (it didn't happen to me yet), but based on the experience of others this can happen when one answers in the last second of the question (at the transition of 1 to 0). So depending on someone's reflexes or just connection lag, one would think they answered properly, but the system sometimes input might act differently, like in cases when the visual output says it is wrong but the answer is actually counted as right. I guess there might also be situations where simply the first question is the culprit, since some people get 540 instead of 550, and the first question is worth 10 points (the 2nd 20, the 3rd 30 and so on). I am still hoping they will look into it, but in the meantime I will try my best to make the 1st question as easy as possible to avoid such situations.
Fourthly, I did not get around to making a poll to optimize the hour when most people will be able to join, I will try doing it tonight and see on what the majority decides.
And lastly, I got the negative -1 before the quiz starts as well, and I think I should warn people about the cause: I had the quiz tab opened for hours (probably hibernated my pc as well in the mean time) and it probably timed out, it didn't happen before to me, but ideally it would be if participants refreshed the page 10-20 minutes before the timer hits zero, just in case. The idea behind it is that the definitive warm-up timer is set to start 30 minutes prior the start of the quiz, so some cache/data get exchanged so that might break it for some people unless the page is refreshed.
