Anyone know this SDG (9th question hint) means? Cant find anything... 2006 single means probably music artist but cant find any with that ACRONYM. Any other hint with that THX

Aww, I was going to be cheeky and suggest looking for identical looking symbol in other hints, but you got here first with actual answer
I wasted almost an hour looking up SDG, before I remembered about this issue with the typeface. I even found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soli_Deo_Gloria_(record_label) but I wouldn't call Mozart's Symphonies Nos 39 and 41 singles.

Guess I wasn't the only one chasing a red herring....

Anyone else think the font should be changed to make the hints easier to read so as to prevent confusion of similar-looking symbols?
It's not the first time I've had trouble with this myself; The quiz themed "capitals" (back on 11th of June) featured the hint "Expensive, wealthy place. Indie Steam Game with the code 113020 contains it."
I searched and searched, but Steam gave me nothing. Reason: 3 looked like 8. Tried replacing it with 5, 6 and 9, but not 3, as it didn't look anything like a 3 with that font...

Same here... Was trying for about an hour for this one from different angles - and nothing.

Was thinking of suggesting a different font for the game, for a while now. It's not so bad for letters, but a lot of numbers are hard to understand.

Spent the last 30 minutes looking up SDG. The fact that there is a organization related to music didn't help. I kept thinking that the sustainable development goals stuff was covering something up.

Found that myself too. Interesting how the dates coincide though:

There was also the part about them releasing 2 Mozart songs in the same year. That didn't help in any way.

Today's quiz in hindsight, mainly in regards of H9...

The question wasn't all that hard, though if I had gone with my previous notes for it (with the assumption of that "3" being an "S"), I'd probably have wound up scrambling due to expecting a completely different question and the answers provided not relating at all to my notes.

They're not COMPLETELY indistinguishable, but it can be hard noticing the subtle difference they do have.

The 9th hint was a "3DG 2006 second single", as already said in this thread.

Thanks, but I just answered about what 9th hint was actually meant, if post's author interested about this after reading other answers. Your screenshot perfectly complements this.

As a side note, the quiz was ok, in my case. Also most hints were helpful or their meaning was related to actual question, theme or more complete names (for example, as in 10th hint for "Juice Newton Queen" from "Juice Newton - Queen of Hearts").
