Another SMITE 2 Beta: https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/smite-2/1131243
I agree wholeheartedly with you on the asset flip games. I wish IndieGala would ban those games from the giveaways section. However, my theory is that they either won't or cannot because of the litany of exceptions that would have to be programmed into the giveaway form.
Its up to the dev to set the price of his games, so it isn't against Valve rules. The only way would be a report for asset flip if they are those kind of games. As I have already shown with a guaranteed giveaway for 160, at least some of these games and DLCs are sold here on IG as well - it wouldn't make sense for IG to ban games of their own catalogue. The problem originates on Steam - maybe it helps if all of us report all these games on Steam? Well, probably just a dream...

Its the dev that revoke demo keys once full game is out or playtest ended, its not always like that but often. In case of SMITE 2 the game is F2P so making a GA with those keys is just a scam.I got a Smite 2 key somwhere else and activated it succesfully, it was Alpha and i had no problem with it... until the next time i got on Steam and the game had disappeared, it seem Stem can count it as Demo and remove it if you don't install the game.
I don't know is is always like that or if in some plaeces the License is ok but to be safe don't enter those giveaways.
It gives a retail license and +1.In case of SMITE 2 the game is F2P so making a GA with those keys is just a scam.
If the license is remove you lose the game and the +1 so it's pointless. It gives a retail license and +1.
Considering it's the same appID as the versions being sold, there is nothing to suggest this won't simply be the full F2P version. The current version is early access on Steam, not a separate game that will be removed. If the license is remove you lose the game and the +1 so it's pointless.
I don't think you understand, i got one of those keys, it saud Alpha but i did not concern myself, i just wanted the game.Considering it's the same appID as the versions being sold, there is nothing to suggest this won't simply be the full F2P version. The current version is early access on Steam, not a separate game that will be removed.
So what you're getting, apart from being able to play the game early, and link your original Smite account, with cross progression rewards, you also get +1 and a retail license.
It is you that does not understand. The key you got is not like the keys given through Gleam, MMOBomb or SteelSeries. They key activation message simply says Smite 2. Here is the SteamDB info: https://steamdb.info/app/2437170/dlc/ with the three paid DLC items connected to it.I don't think you understand, i got one of those keys, it saud Alpha but i did not concern myself, i just wanted the game.
None of the current keys have been revoked. They have announced that it will go F2P early 2025.Then the key was revoked, probably cause the alpha is no more, and i don't have access to the game cause, Smite 2 is NOT F2P but a paid game so it's obvious that the devs remove those keys.
Thus, you do not know what you're talking about, and do not understand the meaning of the word scam. Thus, every single key posted here is a scam, point.
So unless you give the Founder's Edition you are scamming people.
Yes, this is how you MAKE a giveaway, buat dose it have to do with keys?View attachment 19873
This is how you make a GA for the FE. You use this URL in the creation section: store.steampowered.com/sub/1020900/
Anyone making a GA for Smite 2, and using a key say, obtained from AWA, that is currently giving away Smite 2 EA keys, is accurately describing the key.
A scam, for people that don't understand what the word means, is the intentional misrepresentation of something for personal gain. That is not happening here.
In comparison, everything given away from beckabark844786324 is likely a scam. 173 negative feedback, and the key I got from them wasn't even a key, just random numbers and letters.
