wow!! game guru is well know for his instability...
i don't very understand the purpose of all these bad /scam games made with this software, as customers can use the steam refund policy...i guess they hope to put their games in some bundles or directly distributed by some reseller like indiegala or fanatical...i'm quite curious...is the effort worth it
an another great exemple of game guru scam games (delisted from steam) you can notice the similar UI

I am sure all these "Velefant" users I'm seeing lately are all legit, distinct people and not at all a multi-account that spams fake giveaways. /sarcasm

Velefant -
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-cavalier-cutter-pack/689974 feedback confirms that it's not even the right key
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-paladin-pack/692504 (looks like the winner is re-giving it away here https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-paladin-pack/692847 )
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-paragon-battleship-pack/692493 (looks like winner re-gifted it and it also turned out to be the wrong key - https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-paragon-battleship-pack/692824)

velefant104 -
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/694610 another confirmation

velefant1235 -
https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-paragon-battleship-pack/695516 (looks like another re-gifting fail https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/695893)

how come all the original Paragon battleship giveaways by Velefant(s) only had 5/6/7 entries while the failed re-giveaway by Uwain had 30? is it somehow possible to influence? I find it hard to believe that the interest would suddenly rise to 30 when the other 5 giveaways all had so few entries.
PS: nice work finding all of these for us

I think that the interest from participants didn't change - velefant spammed them in large quantities, so people could choose one with fewer entries, while Uwain made only one, so the same number of willing people could only pile onto the same giveaway.

you're right, I did not check the dates - most of them were on the same day, so makes sense. thanks for helping me understand

Yeah if Charles Manson had changed his name to CharlesManson25 I wonder if they would have let him out of prison... Obviously if this Velefant guy is scamming as accused and keeps getting banned for it, he/she doesn't have much respect for the mods to keep coming back with the same name (although to be fair I've known many people in life named Velefant, it's almost as common as Dave).

I'm really hoping IndieGala takes this whole Vega fraud and related scams seriously, they should look at everyone in the higher level giveaways, check the +/- and ban everyone who obviously reached those levels by giving away fake keys to their own/friends' fraud accounts. I'd hate to think that even after everything I've given away, my giveaways at high levels are still being picked up by social parasites, or that I have to compete with these creeps to get something back for what I've given.

Good god.. this Vega abusers even have audacity to ask publicly why you blacklisted them.. wtf...
LOL, I also got a profile comment from that individual :ROFLMAO:

Speaking of VEGA abusers here's another batch. This time there were no comments from any winners unfortunately, but considering I couldn't find any info about these DLCs being sold as keys, I think it's a safe bet that all of them are fake.

Alexis Ramirez - https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/979fd5c08abf11eb968bbd1be86a9c76

carlosgomez93200 - https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/122d5cd15b5a11e7a16c6f579f9e6baa (this one's forum profile is not available anymore, so hopefully it means they got banned)

And just for fun: I stumbled on this gem in an old browser tab: https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/695205 This joker straight up admitted that the giveaway is fake and they just want XP for nothing 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ (This one's forum profile is also gone)

"Indiegala user since: 22 Mar 2021" ...... level 7 user
maybe giveaways should have some kind of XP cap, at the very least for DLCs, since most people won't enter those and that gives the cheaters a chance to abuse the system. Intruducing an XP cap on DLCs would solve a lot of troubles around here tbh; I think for games full XP can stay, as way more people are interested in entering GAs for full games, so cheaters have a lot of competition there and it's probably not worth the risk of somebody legit winning it

Alexis Ramirez has 22 games listed on Steam but somehow managed to reach level 7 giveaways in 2 weeks with less than 50 titles given away and like 15% negative rating. Can someone please point me to their giveaways page so I can blacklist them? Same for Carlos Gomez too pls.

Freakill have you contacted IndieGala support directly? I'm going to just stop giving games away if the system is this easy to exploit and they're not doing anything about it.

Edit: Oh nevermind I see how blacklisting works now.

Not really, I just reported Velefant (because their giveaways have a trail of comments about the whole fakery going on) through the forum.
But I didn't email support directly, because it can sometimes be enough of a struggle to get in touch about issues that directly affect my account or purchases, so I didn't bother.
And I get you - at the moment I'm just giving away the more basic feudalife wins in order to earn malus reduction, but if win something that I care about or have some interesting leftovers from a bundle, I'm not likely to give it away here sadly.

That won't really solve anything IMHO. As long as there is no serious moderation cheaters will just make more fake giveaways and get their coveted free levels anyway.
One easy adjustment that could make some difference is removal of blacklist limit. Currently a new level 0 user wouldn't even be able to blacklist all the known Vega abusers and that's gotta have a chilling effect on any thoughts of making giveaways.

since there is no way to check (or it's not required) if the winner activated the win, I don't give away stuff I purchased with money on IG at all. I really don't want it ending up on the grey market or as re-gifting. Maybe that would help most of all - everybody who signs up for IG must have a Steam account with a minimum amount of money spent on the games in their library, and all winners must activate games -> maybe that would lead to less carousel giveaways?

The problem also is that very few users actually visit the forums, so most people don't even know about these shady accounts that need to be added to blacklists.

Does anybody who is "old" enough (e.i. been here for a while) remember if the person who was a "community giveaway moderator" was effective? Were there less dishonest GAs then?

I wish Indiegala would simply apply a "three-five strike" rule (once someone gets three-five negative reviews within some timeframe - say, a month - they're banned for 2-4-8 weeks from creating giveaways and maybe revoke all their points they got within the period, at least, between the first and last negative feedback)
Also it would be nice to increase automatic positive review delay from 3 days to, at least, 5-7 days, so that the winners who don't often the site (or simply have entered a fake giveaway with a ridiculous 20+ days period and forgot they entered it - that's how those giveaway scammers are banking on it, by the way) had time to react.

But let's be honest - all the suggestions on how to re-balance the system (including this one) so far have been a workaround for a key problem, that is alt accounts, which some cheating users, I have no doubt, have created in droves.

Limiting giveaways to only those accounts, who have signed in / linked through Steam + not allowing "limited" steam accounts (Steam API should provide that info - these accounts are usually recently created and always have less than $5 spent in Steam store; these are usually the throwaway alt accounts the digital farmers use) to create giveaways could partially solve that problem, but this is yet again just another workaround for alt account shepherds that ransack Feudalife Gameplay Giveaway treasury, on top of farming an army of high level IG community giveaway accounts to snipe high lvl giveaways to themselves.

Is there any way to check stats of the user I've already blacklisted? I am 5 level and have all 25 slots filled, and there is so many new candidates... I think I could remove some older ones (or not) but I only see their username and the only option seems to be a removal.
