...Steam confirmed:

The CD-Keys you provided have already been registered to other Steam accounts.
CD Key: WMCX5F6LEVPACQD - Registered on 2019-07-25 at 10:25:06 PDT
CD Key: YZ68P8PFWWIV37J - Registered on 2019-07-30 at 12:06:34 PDT
Wait, there's a way to check when used keys were activated? That could be quite useful. How do you do that?

Huh! Well, not quite as convenient or instantaneous as I'd hoped, but if that works, it should still be adequate to deal with both:
1. the situation where your trading partner falsely claims that your key was already used, and demands another; and
2. the situation where your trading partner doesn't believe you, when you inform them that the key they provided was already used.

Thank you both for the tip!

...until today this evil Solomon was my one and only bad experience with trading on indiegala:

But unfortunatelly indiegala still protect him for any reason!

Why, indiegala, why?! (n)

I don't know all the details in this saga, I don't have access to the same information that you and Indiegala have and I don't seek to accuse anyone I don't even know, but if they've determined that Solomon was using fake accounts to boost his trade ratings then I have no idea why anyone would want to keep him around. Even if the guy spends thousands of dollars here (which sounds doubtful based on the key farming claims), I can't see how it would be beneficial to let someone go around scamming people, committing site fraud (potentially criminal in most countries) and chasing others away from this site.

If they determined that the alleged fake accounts were suspicious enough to merit a ban but they lacked evidence to connect directly to Solomon, that would perhaps be enough to give him a pass, but if they're saying that they'll ban him directly if they catch him doing it again, that sounds to me like an acknowledgement of fraud on his part, and I'm just as perplexed as you are about the lack of punitive measures. Is the guy protected by Putin or what? When has a criminal ever stopped being a criminal after being caught red-handed and let off with a mild warning?

Again, I'm not trying to make any accusations against Solomon other than basing my opinion on Indiegala's own moderator actions, but if the allegations are true then it sure would be nice if Steam could somehow be informed of his activities and get all his thousands of keys deactivated. In the meantime thanks everyone for the warnings, I definitely have no intention of trading with this guy or any of these fake 1 month old accounts with 5 trades and KGB English.

I've decided to make something positive out of this s##t show. I've got dozens of spare wheel spin prize keys from the current ongoing sale at greenmangaming.com. Each user can spin up to 3 times max, thus I can't use them for myself, chances of winning are roughly 1/3 per spin based on my personal experience and those of others I've given keys to, and the prizes have been pretty good (I received a key for Trials Evolution Gold for uPlay which I'm actually looking to trade since I already have it).

Anyone here who's previously reported being scammed by Solomon and would like some Green Man Gaming wheel spin keys, feel free to message me and I'll be more than happy to share some keys with you, no need to offer anything in return. I already contacted the site staff there and they said there's no problem with me sharing these keys, so have at 'em!

I should mention that anyone can have up to three wheel spin codes since that's the maximum you can use on Green Man Gaming, just let me know how many you want. Also just for clarification, I confirmed with Green Man Gaming that it's ok for me to give away the codes, but I haven't mentioned it to the site staff here. I presume Indiegala won't have any issue with it but if I'm wrong then someone please let me know.

I bet that he did a lot of trading between his fake accounts to boost his rep

Let's not be so harsh on someone who trusts fellow "newbies" on this site.

Oh wait! I think that i do recognize that account from somewhere ...

On a serious note, he has more alt accounts though. This is one of them as an example (The rep is between two fake +reps he got from his other alt btcness.pro). These accounts can be used to enter plenty of giveaways on various sites that requires linking steam acc ... That, and obviously as mentioned before, for farming reps, cards, freebies ...

Edit : Speaking of using alts to participate on giveaways, let's take that acc i mentioned as an example.

As we can see mr "Sanyazib" is one of them winners here (Screenshot) right?
Who owns the game? Well you know who ...

Note : There's no other giveaways of that game anywhere else, so that site is the only place that had the chance to give away keys of it.

Anyways ... I guess we all should've took "his own words" more seriously long time ago when he warned us about himself ...

Hi guys, I came across a user that might be scamming so be careful if you end up trading with t k (sleipnirasiooi). This user seems to have 6 alt accounts in his friend's list and the profile has only been recently created.

Indiegala Profile: t k (sleipnirasiooi)
Indiegala Trade: Nioh 2 The Complete Edition Steam CD Key
Steam Profile: sleipnirasiooi
the trade description for Nioh 2 says "I bought it for $ 35, but I couldn't activate it with Region Lock, so I want to exchange it. " which is weird to the max, how can you buy something and then not be able to activate it? your own key that you bought by yourself? I definitely agree it looks fishy

EDIT: so now that we have additional info, the story actually checks out, there is a Japan-only version and a Not-Japan version - the person claims to be in Japan, so now they have benefit of the doubt, maybe this is acutally legit. Now with that cleared up, the only sketchy thing left are the weird friends on Steam, none of whom have any info/games/anything set up

so... uhhh... there is an update to it, the description now says "This key is a global key. I intended to buy a key for Japan, but the global version wasn't available in Japan." (but the story checks out, I checked and there are two region-locked versions: one for Japan only, and the second one for everywhere else except Japan)

I mean maybe it's legit and somebody was purchasing games with VPN turned on or something, and we're judging too harshly. But if we're not, then the worst thing is, somebody is offering Control from the latest Humble choice for the game, I really hope for their sake it's not a scammer, because that one is gonna hurt

EDIT: and I forgot to say, as soon as the scammer allegations started appearing in the comments, the person created a second trade page for the game, without any scammer allegation comments -> https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/232106 (which is both understandable if it's a legit trader, and kinda strage if it's a legit trader - why not defend themselves?)

Seems like someone else got the same problem: trade for Horizon Zero Dawn. "Got global copy, needed Japan. Key for trade".
It could be a false positive, IF his steam profile wasn't set as private, and he has already been reported as scammer.
Be careful.

Edit: HZD has two versions: one for Japan and one for global. It may be true that he bought the wrong version, but the fact that he has already been reported and his last two feedbacks are negatives seems like a red flag to me.

Sup folks, time for a new report about another degenerate who enjoyed his stay here scamming thinking that he's so smart and no one would notice.

We gonna talk about this user. He's a well known lowballer on Steamtrades, I've used ST for quite some time so i know him since +2 years now. Basically, he preys on new users all day long (Check the reps he got , plenty are from new/unexperienced traders) so he can take advantage of 'em and get their bundled games in order to resell on grey market and that's one of the reasons why you see him leaving comments asking other traders on IG if their game is "gift link" or a key or if its region locked ... Now let's talk about his scams : as you can see here , he gives dupes or invalid keys intentionally and obviously he won't offer a working key as a replacement even though as a reseller he's surely capable of doing so. Unfortunately, He didn't scam with this account only though! He has alt accounts that he performed multiple scams with & ofc used 'em to gain fake +reps.

His alt accounts :

https://www.indiegala.com/trades/user/5bbc913aef3c11e78200195b84a6a6d7 : as you can see here he did the same thing that he does with his "main account", he gives random, duplicate or invalid keys.

^ Check the +reps between these accounts.

Here's his recent comment asking a new user (prolly a scammer stay away) if his game is gift link or key : https://www.indiegala.com/trades/post/235406

Finally i didn't dig that deep at all tbh as i just noticed this after like few minutes but i can assure you that he has tons of other alt accounts which he performed many scams with 'em a lot of times.
