Yeah, I know about Dragonlance. I like fantasy settings but there are only a handful of RPGs set in modern days.
I'm not surprised about Gehenna's reference. All games like to incorporate our existing mythologies and religions into their lore.
And I think the Han dynasty was in China, not Japan?

Ya, JRPG on screen and talking about a Nintendo game obsession correcting it.

No doubt there, this is actually one of them...although the world isnt our world.

They actually have an orbal network in thetestingg phase in this game too in contrast with how the internet was evolving at the time...but nothing like VtM seems to be.

I liked Dragonlance because it twisted the lore we knew, one of my favorite "heroes" in the series was Kaz the minotaur...it was actually his self titled book that dragged me in...as well as Raistlin Majere, the weak sickly mage who turns evil heh.

I also like fantasy settings, but I'm not a great book reader expecially in last years, I haven't read any Dragonlance books but I remember Heroes of the Lance it looked very interesting for the time, a remaster would be nice to be played nowdays.

Looks like a classic arcade beat'em up to me like battletoads or something...I don't see it as childish...except the power rangers i'd still play the game though

Same here, I love 90s beat em up style, first game I though it looked like it is TMNT arcade! I'd like to play Power Ranger too for sure!

I watched after many years the Army of The Darkness and I really enjoyed it! When I rewatched the movie I realized Bruce Cambpell has some rensemblance with Jim Carey and I thought Jim would be perfect to act in that movie. So I searched on youtube and I found there is a deepfake version with him lol. I would love to watch the whole movie with Jim Carey!
