I'm still really struggling with the challenges, over and over until I ran out of tries with zero wins.
Yes, expect that to happen again tomorrow and then maybe 3 more days. I sucked so much at this thing when I was new. The easiest challenge when you are new is picking the samplings (40 saplings in 60 seconds is doable)
PRO TIP: before you enter the challenge, when the "instructions" are displayed - observe the map you're given (execept for the berry watering and the sickling grass, every other minigame has a unique layout everytime - sometimes the layout is better, sometimes worse). Plan what you're gonna do before you close that instructions window - for example the samplings challenge the light ones are good and dark ones are bad - you want to avoid the black ones or leave them until last because they take more time to collect. So observe the map to know wheter there are for example more light brown samplings on the left, right, top, botton and so on. PLAN BEFORE YOU START!
Berry watering challenge. Seems there is a delay before it grows, how many waterings are necessary to get berrys so I don't over water? Some aiming issues too.
Every berry takes 4 waterings to grow fully - DON'T KEEP WATERING THE SAME ONE! I use the left-right strategy: pick any berry closest to you and water it, then turn right or left to water the one next to it. Then turn back to the original berry and water it. Then to the berry on the left or right. Repeat until both berries are watered 4 times and move downwards. Repeat process.
Hoeing challenge. Really hard to aim. Like super annoying. I find it quicker to just do the extra clicks where there is extra stuff to hoe through than trying to line things up. And then of course if its lined up where I've already hoed, then I got to find a new spot, wasting more time. I find this one of the hardest challenges because of this aiming issue. Any tips?
Once you figure out how the aiming mechanism works (and it takes weeks), this is by far the easiest challenge of them all. The tip is: until you get used to the mechanism, always hoe the whole ROW and then the row below and then the row below... go all the way from left to right, the the next row right to left and so on until you figure it out. ALWAYS avoid the very dark green ones, they take 3 strikes to complete. I personally skip all the light green ones as well, but you can try to just complete the whole row, green ones included and see if it's comfortable (light green squares take 2 strikes to complete, that's why I skip them). As always, observe the map before you start! Sometimes the first row has only green tiles and would take too long to complete -> skip it entirely and start with the second row. But observe first, which rows can be skipped!
Trees. I see some of the trees are smaller, but they blend in with the bigger trees, how do I tell the small trees from the large trees and quickly line up with them to chop them?
Stick to smaller trees yes, and the best thing to do is OBSERVE before the challenge starts as much of the map as is visible and plan your path! For example I know that I'm gonna go 2 trees down, 4 trees to the right, then 2 trees up just by observing the map. Once you're between the trees it's hard to see which one is small and big, so try to memorise before you start what the map looks like.
Archers, I typically run out of HP, tips for dodging the arrows without losing too much time?
Don't get very close, just close enought to hit them with the sword, not face to face. I like to stand tiny little bit diagonally when facing an archer - just a little bit up or down from his position. Smash the right-mouse button fast, don't let him fire. Max takes 3 times to take him out, only 2 if you get lucky. Also after you kill an archer try to return to the center of the map to minimise movement time - this way regardless of where the next archer spawn, you're just as close to all spawn points.
Some challenges use left click and some use right click, any trick to quickly know which I need without memorizing? Yes, it tells you which to do, but not right away and precious seconds are wasted figuring out which to do. Maybe I could get a list of the challenges as to which are left click and which are right click?
Only the sapling picking uses LEFT, everything else uses RIGHT
You get a free game with each challenge you win? If someone were to win 24 challenges in a day, they'd get 24 different games? What games does one typically get from it? Is there a chance of getting repeat keys of games you already got?
You get a key everytime. Sometimes it's a DLC though, I like to create giveaways for those. Sometimes you get a non-working key (duplicate -
Feudalife challenge duplicate keys MASTERPOST), don't get spooked if that happens. Sometimes the games are good (see here
Best games you've won) and sometimes they are just silly little games that cost USD 1,99. But yes, I have won some nice games here. Nobody can win 24 challenges in a day, guaranteed - after you win, you get a time penalty - you must complete the same task as before but with less time. Max I ever won in a day was 6. Yes, repeat keys can happen - give those away. If you get a DLC, look here for a guide on how to figure out what the DLC is for so you can give it away and get XP for it
