Official Statement: the last one was meant to be a trick more or less, but one that can be deduced, since the hint was "Mob Psycho Media", tried to encapsulate as much as possible. And since probably most results would suggest it is an anime that is based on a manga (or webcomic), I only hoped it could only mean Manga and Anime were the correct answers, but since the quiz allows only 1 answer kind of question, tried to give the answer that encapsulates all of the answers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mob_Psycho_100 It was a bit cruel of me to trick you like that, without notice, but I hope you'll be joining again. Thank you for participating.
The mean part was that the correct answer was number 4. A lot of us probably stopped after finding manga. But given that finding out that it has an anime and a manga was easy enough, you could figure out that both of these answers couldn't be correct(since you can't select both).
All in all good going, you tricked a lot of us, kudos to you :)
But don't over do it with the trick questions, the 10 seconds don't give a lot of time to think, and a lot of the participants aren't native English speakers.

I agree that 10 sec is quite a short period, and as a non-English speaker I struggle a lot with time constraints here (even after living in US for 20 years). That's one of the reasons why I rely so heavily on hints.

Seconded.
Not a native speaker, but I do consider myself fluid in the language. For me, the issue is that I'm a slow reader. I rely heavilly on the hints in order to give me a chance at all. There've been multiple questions in the past where I'd have no chance at all to read the entire question, not to mention the answers, before the timer ran out.
This round, I struck out on the 3rd question. Not beating myself up about it. Was just an honest mistake coupled with my eyes deceiving me. (All answers appeared wrong, time ran short, panicked and clicked.... At least it wasn't the 10th question ^^ )

Edit: That is not to say that 10 seconds isn't a good thing. If it was much longer, everyone could just google the answers to each question and still have ample time left to make their choice.

Dam... that 3rd question got me... I had a hunch that hint refers to Scooby Doo, but didn't research it and then got panicked. And then misclicked on the 4rth. (facepalm)
Oh well... Win some - lose some.

Same result again, no bug observed but I fail to answer the last question correctly.
I got that one by sheer luck - my quess turns out to be right. I wrote down the list of those original 10 bears when researching hints but never thought about looking further, and as I grew up in a different country my knowledge of everything people in US grow up with is fairly limited. My kids were watching different cartoons already in 21st century.

I thought that third hint would be about Scooby (though I wasted a LOT of time trying to find a Dog Diaries Curse of Mystery Mutt cartoon), since they ride in a Mystery Machine someone must have called him a "mystery mutt" at some point, when in fact the hint was for something nobody is called on the cartoon.
The last question - hoo boy, I got that one by the skin of my teeth, practically by luck! But looking back at the screenshot it's actually much easier if you read carefully, even without knowing the Care Bears by heart: Grumpy Bear obviously wouldn't have a rainbow, Tenderheart Bear probably would have a heart, and the Brave Heart LION is not a friggin bear! Which leaves the Cheer Bear as the most likely one by far.

Four out of ten. And thus the new season ends on day one.

I'm still unable to log into the forum with Firefox, btw. Just sayin'.

Since the 500-error that plagued the site a while back, I've had this issue return to me once or twice. Have you tried logging out of and back into the main IG-site?

The third question was "Which of the following was NOT the name of a canine appearing on 'Scooby Doo'"

Yes, of course. Login from the main site does not carry over to the forum site, which seems reasonable considering it's a different subdomain.

The forum's login page looks completely different in Firefox and Chrome, and in Firefox it claims my password is wrong. In Chrome it just works. It's been like that for months now...

I'm well aware that the forum's log-in page looks different.
Whenever the case has been that the forum hasn't identified me as being logged in, the forum's log-in page has been essentially non-functional. Regardless of whether you're being told that your password is correct or not, it never successfully allows you to log in.
Going back to the main IG page, manually logging out there, followed by logging back in on the main site (not the forum) should fix the forum log-in.
If it doesn't, I'd suggest contacting support on the matter.

There're actually 2 different log-in pages that can be reached from the forum; One from the top of the page and one when attempting to make a post while not being logged in. For the purpose of logging in, neither works. My suspicion is that they both fail to register and accept the log-in as a result of registering you as already being logged in on the main site. (Can't unlock a door that isn't locked.)

It is somewhat unclear in your post whether you actually did try to follow this suggestion or if you simply dismissed it as an improbable solution.
Did you try?

I have to re-login to the main site, say, every other week or so because it claims this is me using a different computer than before.

I don't think I have ever actually logged out of that site, just like with most other sites. It was always IndieGala logging me out, I'd say.
