Google Translate manages to be even more useless than I thought it was.

I knew it was bad for longer stuff, but I didn't expect it to betray me on single words.
Except for Celeris - Quickbar it worked OK for me. Though, as others have mentioned, Google Translate is far from perfect and shouldn't be considered as trustworthy as a proper dictionary.

from the "Latin" section of your link: 3. (intransitive) I aspire or desire (to); approach, come near (to)
That's from aspiro article, not spiro. Which references aspiro as a derived term, but that's still a different word.
Personally I only got it because without a "breathe" option, "aspire" seemed to fit best since there are so many English words with that root.

In my preparations, after I concluded that Google Translate was drunk and I turned back and asked big brother Google to help with the hints, I got the following: https://www.funtrivia.com/playquiz/quiz2226928fba0.html
Have I stumbled upon the source of all the quizzes? Or maybe the alter ego of our quiz master?
Neat find! I've compared it to my screenshots and apart from answers in Question #8 it seems identical.

Aye, had some personal problems which kept me from doing something different and usually when the quiz hints get updated really late (like a few hours before the start) it means that I could not get around to make/adapt a quiz in time, so I end up thinking of and trying to find a fairly easy quiz to which I bring minor modifications. I will be a bit more transparent from now on about it, since burnout can occur fairly often.

No worries. Family and health comes first. After that everything else.
I just thought it was a bit funny when google translate made no sense and out of despair I made a search with all words. Went from "impending doom" to "I got this" in seconds. :)

...since burnout can occur fairly often.
Do take care of yourself, mate. Your personal well-being should always come first.
Take some time to wind down every now and then.
Sit back and relax. Grab an audio-tape of whale song while closing your eyes.
Do some amateur meditation (just close your eyes and chant yamayamayama and pretend you know what true meditation is).
Eat the brownies that you bought from that guy in the alley.
Sprinkle the powdered sugar that you bought at the night club on those brownies.
Decide to take up parkour.
Pretend the national museum of articulate glass sculptures is your jungle.
.....

I feel I might've trailed off a bit here.
In short: Just take some time for yourself every now and then. ;)

Instructions unclear: she doesn't say how she obtained the new lyrics.

These guys do. 😄

Fine...
Take this one instead then. ;p

Doesn't sound as good as the song though, on account of it using Microsoft Sam (I assume?) as a voice-over.
The awful computer voice-over aside, the script is somewhat amusing.

For me, visual glitch on Question 2 marked as incorrect at first. But thankfully, it counted as correct in the end.

Don't ask me how I managed to mess this one up.... >_>
prscr12.jpeg

Had all the right notes...
Kinda misread the noted hint as "flag" (which was Q8's hint) rather than "national emblem". (Was busy in a rapidfire chat in the wee seconds before the quiz started.... Got only myself to blame for that one...)
