Report Giveaways Here

Giving out automatic points if no feedback is receivedwithin a couple of days is the problem here.

Automatic points should only be awarded after a user has reached a certain level, that'd stop the scammer epidemic.

Some of the higher level people you will see I block a game and they glitch the site and give them anyway. But I can only do what I can do. But true on the automatic feedback. The problem is so many don't give feedback at all. But I realy think they should reset everything and put everyone back to 0 once in awhile.

Hi, bit of a noob question (sorry if it's a wrong place to ask this) - is it allowed to (re)post a giveaway, using a key that you just won from a giveaway here? 🤨

There's no way to enforce it even if it was against the rules.
But the thing is - if the key turns out to be bad it will be on you, you will get a negative vote for this. And by the time it comes back to you timer on original GA might be over and that automatically would give positive for whoever created that one.
Keep that in mind. And then - it's up to you if you want to regift it or whatever.

Ah, ok - I wasn't aware there was a timer (for defaulting to positive feedback). Cool, sounds good - just thought it was a bit iffy seeing my giveaway being reposted the next day by the winner 😅. Thanks for the reply

I thought it was against the rules, but can't remember. Either way you are correct that there really is no way to enforce it and the positive/negative feedback system would make a reasonable person not regiveaway the game.

Speaking of the giveaway rules I noticed that the forum where the rules are posted is not available anymore as I'm getting a 404 error for the page.

Is there anyway to get the rules listed again mseals?

Hi mseals.
I can understand that view, and I can somewhat feel that way too. The thing is, we (well I at least) serious givers would quit giving games on this site if it was to be resetted "once in a while". I've given too much to see my level get down to zero again. That would be a (bad) reaction to cheaters, not in any way proactive. I would not post any more giveaways, but the cheaters would keep posting fakes/demos/freebies and reach high levels.
After a while, only cheaters would post giveaways, since sincere givers have nothing to gain in either levels, trust, reputation nor higher chance to win.

We need a more proactive mean to stop the cheaters, or making what was worth 103cr at the time, get down to 1 after the sale is over and dropping the XP on that account accordingly (this was for the Deadalus sales over and over).

I hope you understand my point of view, you do a great job, I wish there was more of you.
Fredric
