Report Giveaways Here

So I wanted to try out this whole giveaway thing, but it seems there are a lot of bad actors at play here.

For instance, I just uploaded my first batch of games and two DLC. Then I noticed something interesting, I found that one of my key's winners decided to immediately create a new giveaway based on the key they just won.

Here you can see my giveaway and the winner here: My giveaway
Here you can see where he immediately created a new giveaway for the same exact DLC: Their giveaway

The timing is interesting to say the least, and noteworthy that he only has that one DLC and not the base game or the other DLC that you would typically get in any bundles. He hasn't left feedback of course. Considering the level of their account and behavior, I am assuming he/she/it is one of the many fake accounts taking advantage of the system through sheer numbers.

Here's some suggestions from me, that I think would help with some of the bots and scammers:
Valid linked Steam accounts
Steam accounts with a minimum Steam level required.
Steam accounts with a minimum worth value required.
IG Level 0 accounts can only post giveaways with minimum 1 week duration.
IG Level 1 accounts can only post giveaways with minimum 3 days duration.

The latter two rules are to limit what accounts that belong to a bot/alt horde like julian-bueno can reliably do.

Edit: Sorry for all the edits, I wanted to clarify and format some things.

Something to be reckoned with…

Now mind you, this is a level one giveaway.

And just another case to prove the point I've made before, i.e. problems with giveaways aren't caused by the alleged: bots, insufficient restrictions or IndieGala's support in the matter.

They're caused by the existence and activities of unfathomable cretins. Such as the owner of the aforementioned giveaway, its winner and all the morons who post these intricately useless access restriction ideas all around these boards.

bots are real. there used to be frequent stories about keys from Humble that people would post as giveaways to the general public - here and steamgifts, reddit, and probably a few others (which is a violation of the Humble Bundle TOS) - causing their Humble accounts to be suspended because they showed up on shady giveaway sites. and were KNOWN to be Humble keys because Humble tracks their keys and activations (their account information specifically assigns a specific key to a specific user). And the site traced from was known for shady graymarket everything (like giveaways[dot]su or something). the sheer volume of keys to farm to support a system like that would be prohibitive for a real, live person, but not one tending thousands of bot accounts.

You posted with a snarky attitude on one of my posts a while back and from this it is clear you're a petulant a$$hole. Welcome to my ban list.

Since writing this, it's become apparent to me that not only does IG seem to not give a rats's ass about protecting their site, system and users better, but they seem hell-bent on providing an even more corrupt platform for bots and bad actors to thrive in because I can't find any way to identify a specific user account or a link to their steam account anymore.

If those are guaranteed giveaways then you should contact support about it. Unless something broke in the system the gifter couldn't have seen the keys let alone done something with them.

I'm not saying they're all fake, but it's suspicious that one person has posted dozens of "Crusader Kings II" DLCs about 30 seconds apart each.
See this one for example.

this dlc has been given away a few weeks ago by the editor of the game, i don't know if the keys are still valid, but this is a good exemple of "key farming" and "bot work"...if you miss the opportunity to obtain this dlc, you can try and have some luck...if this dlc is no more free, this don't break the rules...unlike using a bot

Regarding the distribution of DLC keys for Crusader Kings II, I do not use any bots, I only get valid keys from Paradox Interactive with my own hands. Or do you think that it’s so easy to sit for hours and get keys. Sorry, I create a lot of emails. On the STEAM platform, this add-on is paid. And the fact that there is supposedly a 30-second interval between keys, sorry, I don’t count the time when I post the distribution on the site. Or is it difficult for you to copy the description, link to the add-on in steam and As a matter of fact, the key itself? I open the browser, in the search I enter the name of the add-on in steam, open the notebook with the keys, in fact, the description is copied there and I start to enter all the data that is needed to create the distribution. So far, all my keys, specifically for this add-on, get a positive assessment, and if there is a certain percentage of activated keys in the distribution (which I doubt), then I’m sorry for what I bought, for that I sell it (Russian proverb). Proof

Just because you aren't a bot it doesn't always make it okay. I'm too lazy to check IndieGala & Paradox's rules, but it sounds like an exploit to open 50 email accounts just to get their Steam keys and max out your IndieGala Level.

I won this Tumblestone giveaway a couple weeks ago, activated it successfully, gave it a positive. A few days later went to play it and found out it was fake, just a trial key, which apparently seems to be a major problem with Tumblestone specifically.
Sent an email to support to ask them to flip the positive to a negative (as per the support page) so a cheater doesn't benefit, but it's been two weeks and no response and it still shows positive feedback. Can I just report it here and have it taken care of?
