So I wanted to try out this whole giveaway thing, but it seems there are a lot of bad actors at play here.
For instance, I just uploaded my first batch of games and two DLC. Then I noticed something interesting, I found that one of my key's winners decided to immediately create a new giveaway based on the key they just won.
Here you can see my giveaway and the winner here: My giveaway
Here you can see where he immediately created a new giveaway for the same exact DLC: Their giveaway
The timing is interesting to say the least, and noteworthy that he only has that one DLC and not the base game or the other DLC that you would typically get in any bundles. He hasn't left feedback of course. Considering the level of their account and behavior, I am assuming he/she/it is one of the many fake accounts taking advantage of the system through sheer numbers.
Here's some suggestions from me, that I think would help with some of the bots and scammers:
Valid linked Steam accounts
Steam accounts with a minimum Steam level required.
Steam accounts with a minimum worth value required.
IG Level 0 accounts can only post giveaways with minimum 1 week duration.
IG Level 1 accounts can only post giveaways with minimum 3 days duration.
The latter two rules are to limit what accounts that belong to a bot/alt horde like julian-bueno can reliably do.
Edit: Sorry for all the edits, I wanted to clarify and format some things.
