Some more from bbobyy:
profile link of bbobyy in case you want to ban them (level 6 user with 31 created giveaways, a step away from being level 7)
profile link of Fil1 if you wanna ban (level 3 user with 3 giveaways, a step away from level 4)
dasdsada:
profile link of dasdsada if you wanna ban (level 2 user with 3 giveaways, a step away from level 3)

these people are the same level as those who have generously given away hundreds of games to the community and built their level honestly. Using a shortcut to increase a level (if you do it multiple times, it is abuse - once is perfectly forgivable on the ground of the benefit of doubt) is not nice to others, those games are not worth as much as the XP received. that's why I'm posting the profile, so that every user of this forums can decide for themselves if they want these types to take part in their giveaways

Thank you cheerie132!

I had missed that you could ban users. I am level 2, soon to be level 3 and can only ban 10 users. That is ridiculous! Especially considering that it would be trivial for indiegala to automatically detect these fake accounts. They are implicitly approving them by doing nothing and limiting how many you can ban.

Just my humble opinion. I am open to hear others, especially since I am relatively new around here.

can someone please break down for me in as simple language as possible how to ban a user, the last page of comments do not work for me, i reached level 3 before a years long hiatus from IG, so I still should be able to use this feature right?

I am trying to give away keys owned from gameplay giveaway but running into the inevitable downvotes. Is there a certain number of downvotes that will do anything bad, making me lose privileges or something?

Go to your library, Giveaways section, on the left side and all the way at the bottom, click Blacklist. You need user's trade profile link to ban them.

@crimsonprophetgifts In all honesty, my guess is that the multiple accounts are using a round-robin system.
They are essentially entering their own giveaways and most likely also winning their own giveaways to allow them to essentially "regift" all their giveaways again.

these games are pure "assets flip" mixed with "cash grab" scheme
just buy game guru classic, open the first demo, put some random assets and claim it as a game
ideal for earning some xp here

at the beginning i found this game with the same title, it's a simple walking simulator
with assets from unreal or unity stores, less expensive

It crashed.
wow!! game guru is well know for his instability...
i don't very understand the purpose of all these bad /scam games made with this software, as customers can use the steam refund policy...i guess they hope to put their games in some bundles or directly distributed by some reseller like indiegala or fanatical...i'm quite curious...is the effort worth it

Don't know why @knuddelholic gave me bad review for my giveaway of Tumblestone (https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/detail/691869), I check it wasn't dubbed at the time I created the giveaway :(
most of keys for this particular game are demo/beta keys (good working keys in fact...but...), in this case people put a bad review...normal behavior if they are expecting the full version....i've also read that some owners of the game could generate keys from it, but only for demo purpose

I get it, but the thing is that the key works for the base game, I checked myself because I already own a copy. I know there are upgrades to expand full content, but what is the purpose of inputing the link of the game at the time of creating the giveaway (and I did it correctly), if they won't see it at the moment of entering the giveaway. I put the correspondent key to the link I attached on the giveaway. The game it's worth about 2000 xp points, and I was denied of getting it, because someone expected something different than what was announced on the giveaway. It not my fault :/

most likely the activation notice said "Thumblestone TRIAL". You did not write it in the description box that it's not the full game but only the limited version (not that most people read the description, but if you had done that, you could have claimed it's the winner's fault) - this way anybody who is not aware of how Thumblestone the game is set up (base game =/= full game) will leave neagative review and be completely justified in doing so. It's not really your fault that Thumblestone made such a stupid decision for their game, but it's not the winner's fault either

Furthermore, if this quote is true "The owners of the full game can generate the [trial] keys for free" then any other feedback then negative would be unfair. Everyone who owns the full game could create these giveaways, worth 2000 XP for free.
