Further edits to my post has been made since you quoted it.
Gonna try one more round, now that it seems to be rotating the challenges the way it should.
Weed Whacking (sickle challenge) might need some tweaking too.
Flawless performance left me with 50/60, with no mis-clicks. (15 malus)

It takes a little less than a full second to clear each weed, but the action isn't fast enough to counter the 15-second penalty.
Edit:
Mining: completed
Result: Inconsidtent data once more.

As you can see from the image, I'm well on my way to mining a 13th rock, which means this was not a photo-finish performance.
-I don't have any practical way to start/stop a stopwatch while playing the challenges.
-The time is indeed 45 seconds. Nothing wrong there.
- The rotation seem to have fixed itself at this point. (It gave me 5 consecutive rounds of watering yesterday, as well as an additional 3 rounds today.)
No additional scripts running. I do use NoScript (Firefox), but this shouldn't cause any issues. I tweaked it to allow the scripts required to play the challenges the first time around and have made no alterations since then. With those settings, the challenge was successfully completed every time (depending on my own performance, of course).
Since I did successfully receive my keys from yesterday's rounds, there should be no need to tweak my settings in NoScript.
But just in case it did cause some unintended results, I did disable it completely prior to continuing with the additional rounds I just now played. The results were the same.
Today's results
Challenges played: 10
Challenges genuinely lost: 5 (1 watering, 1 archer, 1 sickle, 1 hoe, 1 sappling)
Challenges won, but with "inconsistent data" being the result: 5 (3 watering, 1 woodcutting, 1 mining)
Keys received: 0/5 (due to "inconsistent data")
I'm considering filing a support ticket in order to claim these 5 keys (after all, I did "pay" for them ;p ), but I'll hold off for now and wait for your reply on the matter.
For the time being, I'm abandoning the challenge. There's no point in playing if this "inconsistent data"-error persists on every win.
