It's been a while, but I've gotten the classic "there was an error and now you've got more malus but no key" error. I'm a little disappointed since I'd also bought a key which successfully gave me that there malus reduction.

Weirdly, it seems harder. With normal malus, I can fairly reliably get 3-4 keys in a row with a failure or two in the middle. Now with less malus, it's been a bit of a struggle to get up to that level? Probably just my bad luck. I've also noticed less used keys (though I've still gotten them time to time), so congrats! Things seem better, generally.

Admittedly, I am complaining (this is the place to complain, after all). I just want to make sure that I'm not just bashing this service.
Do you know about the new dynamic difficulty they added?
It makes the challenges harder/easier at different times of the day depending on how many wins/losses there were; read about it here:

If by "it's been awhile" you mean that you haven't played lately, maybe you're just out of practice? I know I had to refresh my skills after a week long break in December.

Nah, I'd meant that it had been a while since I'd gotten the error that increased malus without giving a key. It seemed like that error had disappeared. The day before this, I'd been able to do just fine.

Likely my growing frustration with the Challenge yesterday compounded any increased difficulty. The positioning of the cursor on hoeing and watering was really strange though. I love it when my cursor is over a plant, but watering does nothing.

The last two times I won a game code with 4s of malice I got faulty Steam keys. When activating these keys I got the "Duplicate Product Code" error through Steam. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Upon getting "error notice from the king" we shouldn't even lose the GS spent... and the malus without key even more so, hope they fix both!

I keep on getting "locked out for suspicious activity" Either right away or a few seconds in.
Then I had a game once the timer ran out, it got stuck, the music still played and the swirly light animation kept going off but no pop up saying my reward.
Now I'm stuck in a different way. I was logged in to be able to play with chrome, but I was logged out for the forum. I tried to log in to the forum to post about this and it kept on rejecting my user/password till it said I was locked out.

Now I'm on a different browser, I'm logged into the forum but on the main website I can't play because security locked me out for the failed attempts to log into the forum. I can log into the main site but I get this loading error when I try to play. (presumably from the failed attempts to loginto the forum) *sigh* How long does this usually take for them to unlock my account?

Does IG have support contact?

What happens if you logout then clear browser cache and login?

I posted earlier about inconsistent data messages during wins. I want to correct that and say that the last few days I finally have won some things without problem. However, there is just one minigame that always gives trouble: Archers.

I've never won archers (can't seem to avoid the arrows long enough, always die), but even when I lose, I get an error about not being able to update data and it punts me back to library. It's only this one, others at least have awarded credit time to time.

Have also noticed a pattern here, dying results in error.

I don't know about the error, but you can try to avoid arrows by guessing when the archers is going to shoot and just move a little. Usually i hit once, move and hit 2 other times. If you avoid at least 2-3 arrows, you should be clear and can take the others.

Here are my feedbacks I experienced over a few days:

1. There are many bug in the Hoeing challange like mistargetting or hitting without interaction
2. When you die in the Fighting challange without getting prize, it writes "Error notice from the King" and the site sets me back to my Library (as others mentioned before)
3. The random Galacredit earning system is extremly frustrating, prizes interval should be small but guaranteed
4. G. Giveaway page in the user's library sorts the already won keys randomly, hard to find them after a time
5. Roughly 25% of Steam keys that we won are cannot be activated (because they are duplicate keys, dlc contents or simple free games) and this is still fine, because it's free for us, but would nice if you set this thing in the description to provide fair expectations for players

Anyway, I'm so happy for this opportunity that IndieGala provides for us, thank you very much and keep up the good work!

Can the devs resume posting changelogs whenever a new update for the challenges comes out? Dev Blog and Changelog It would be pretty nice to know beforehand what change they did.

Regarding the challenges, usually i get my 5th win on the Hoeing or Watering (Watering is the safest if you use about 100-150 silver, as i only won it once at 44 seconds, BARELY) but sometimes i get wins on the archer one. For archers it seems the limit is pretty much around 44 seconds to get the 5th win. Can't say i felt them shoot any faster than usual
Which depends on the RNG. If you're at 8/9 archers remaining, you have to do a 2/3 gamble and go between the left/down spawns (like i did above) or right/down spawns, because if you kill the 8th archer on the left and the 9th spawns on the right, you won't have enough time to reach him. I tried a couple of times to stay dead center on my 8th kill and see if i can eliminate the RNG at the end and go to any spawn to kill them, unfortunately i run out of time on the last sword swipe, sometimes during the final kill animation.

Absolutely.

Forgive us if we discontinued. we worked all past winter on a big update but since the pandemic and first lockdown ( march 2020 in our country ) we had to rearrange the whole feudalife ( small ) team workflow and put everything on hold.
Then we took the project again last summer but decided to work mostly on challenges since the future was still relatively uncertain.
Now it is over one month we are heavily working on main game again, mostly rearranging the whole codebase, save file structure and updating tech, but expect many changes ( and changelogs ) in the next month.

A little question ( you can also answer me in main game thread if you like ) : do you "challenger" guys play main game also?
If yes, which features would you like to see in it?
( apart from the obvious fixes of bugs in saves ;-) )

Hello.
Here's my run right after reset. As I mentioned before, some comments make me wonder if people play it right or the game just runs like garbage for them, so let's compare our experiences:

My results for Gameplay Giveaway at 7 February 2021:
1. Chopping, 60 seconds, 8/8.
2. Sickling, 56 seconds, 60/60.
3. Mining, 52 seconds, 14/14.
4. Watering, 48 seconds, 16/16, no message about "The Challenge is over!" for more than 2 minutes.
5. Fighting, 48 seconds, 8/9, "Error notice from the King" for next challenge.
6. Picking, 48 seconds, 34/40.
7. Hoeing, 48 seconds, 63/60.
8. Chopping, "Error notice from the King" after clicking on the "Challenge" button.

I checked email after this and got 5 messages about "Indiegala Giveaway!" today. If this is true, then I won "Watering" challenge (the date and time for the fourth message is almost near completion of the "Watering" challenge), but didn't get malus after this, like something processed it too long and didn't give malus, while I tried to play next challenges with previous 12s malus (after closing "Watering" challenge's window without getting "The Challenge is over!" message for more than 2 minutes, of course). I can't check number of keys for current day, because the site errors out with "500 Server Error" (link to a video), when I try to access "My library" page. Supposedly, because of many items in "G. Giveaway" tab, explained by @freakill in another thread, about which I contacted with support in previous and current year (latest request number is 32319). Please check mentioned issues, if possible.

If some emote box comes up, don't waste time trying to close it by clicking the X button, instead just press E again. it's a button easily accidentally pressed when moving around in a challenge using awsd keys.

Also earlier when I encouraged devs to provide better games at potentially no additional cost to them, people should not have gotten down on me. Whatever motive IG has for doing things like this, they have a motive and that motive is not (solely anyway) to be nice. They won't suddenly stop doing it because someone suggested the game give away quality improve. As far as whether they could improve the game quality without paying more, none of us knows their business model on any of this. But if there is a chance for them to improve game quality with no additional cost, why not suggest it. I mean some games they give away are such trash, it's the same as not winning a game(despite having a high listed price in Steam sometimes). So if people tell them they are buying trash equivalent to not getting any game, they should know. What they do with the info is up to them. You other players/participators are not their unpaid body guards that they need protecting from suggestions and feedback.

I didn't encounter errors from previous day. But there was "500 Server Error" still after trying to load "My library" page. The mentioned page loaded once after some challenge, but there was another issue: after playing Feudalife Challenge and clicking on "Go to your Profile" button, the "My library" page may reload itself after some time and there is a need to (logout,) restart a browser and login again to be able to access "My Library" page normally (i.e. without automatic reloads; but there was another "500 Server Error", in my case). The tested browser is Mozilla Firefox v85.0.1 (in private window with clean "Cookies and Site Data"), but I saw this issue for previous versions also.
